The previous schools created by the Yogis are like that. Here it says, all the teachings of the Tathagata are our measure. Because the measure is a credible scripture, the good ones will accept it. This means that all the teachings of the Sugata are our measure, because those were spoken by those who directly saw the truth. Those with good intentions will accept it and will not go against it. Other scriptures will cause doubt, and will not make one a heretic. Therefore, in order to make them accept, one should seek a rational way. This means that other scriptures refer to scriptures other than the scriptures. Those scriptures will cause doubt, that is, they will doubt "Is that true? Or is it not true?". Heresy refers to being distracted from this established school, not relying on this, and mistakenly thinking "That is not like this". Those who have such thoughts are those who are confused by other scriptures, and have doubts and heresies, they will refute those who speak arbitrarily. Because they do not accept that measure, therefore, in order to make them accept, one should seek the way of the speaker having reason, that is, to find the path of reason that has no faults of school, reason and metaphor, has not been accused of being wrong by others, and is the ultimate. The scriptures you have examined, and the words spoken by the slanderers, are all intolerable to reason, therefore, things that are not established by duality are not rational, because they are contradictory. Is the flower in the sky non-existent, or is it real? One should not examine whether it is real. This means that if one temporarily thinks that things that are not established by duality are real, then how can it be non-existent? If it is non-existent, then it is not real. Therefore, things that are not established by duality are not rational, because it contradicts one's own words. If someone says that because the nature of non-duality is always certain, therefore non-existence itself is real, then the non-existence of the flower in the sky will also become real. If you do not think that the non-existence of the flower in the sky is real, then you should not examine whether the non-duality is real. Why?

Therefore, we think like this: Whatever discriminations arise, whatever things are discriminated, that is only the completely imputed, its own-being is non-existent. The nature of other-dependent things arises from the causes and conditions of discrimination. Among them, what is always the first, the very absence (of the grasped and the grasper of the completely imputed), is the perfectly established. That is to say, in the nature of other-dependent, what is always the first, that is, the thing that is the absence of the grasped and the grasper of the completely imputed nature, that is the perfectly established nature. Because it is non-existent in relation to the completely imputed and the other-dependent, but existent in relation to the perfectly established, therefore the two, non-existence and existence, are inseparable, not different, so there is no contradiction. If the outsiders think like this, in order to refute them, we must also give an answer. If, because there is no real examination, one thinks that there is no difference between them, then in establishing the entity and the definition, this is the same as what was said before, so it is not an answer. Thus it is said. Even if the completely imputed and the other-dependent are inseparable from the perfectly established because of non-existence, when establishing the basis of the definition and the definition, the so-called basis of the definition, its definition is a non-dual thing. If it is temporarily a non-dual thing, then how can it be non-existent? If it is said to be non-existent, then it is not a thing, because it is the same as the contradiction stated before, so the answer given by the outsiders is not good. Furthermore, if what does not abandon that thing, one thinks that it is that thing, thus not abandoning the thing, therefore that is not a thing. That is to say, if the outsiders say like this, not abandoning the non-dual thing, that is the thing, there is no second nature of the thing. Then, one should say to them like this, if one does not abandon the own-being, therefore the thing is only non-existent, so one should not regard it as a thing. Therefore, therefore, the wisdom of those who see that, will have the non-thing as its object. That is also not the selflessness of phenomena,

Because it is the cause of the object of the mind of non-existence. That is to say, according to the tenets of the Mahayana, the wisdom of the Buddha is liberated from the two extremes of existence and non-existence. If, according to your view, it becomes focused on non-existence, then it contradicts the scriptures. If you say it doesn't contradict, why? Because the selflessness of all imputed dharmas is selflessness itself, and you also admit that it is focused on this. If you say that the selflessness of dharmas is devoid of all characteristics, then it is also merely non-existence, because it is the object of the mind of non-existence, so it cannot become the selflessness of dharmas. The word 'self' is to speak of essence, and selflessness is the essence of things, and the essence of non-things, because it is the non-existence of both essences. Here, the opponents think that conceptualization is bondage, so they think that liberation is achieved by being free from it. If you say: If you think that the mind that focuses on non-existence is non-conceptual. Then, this means that all dharmas are of the nature of non-existence, because the taste is the same, so what would the mind that focuses on non-existence cling to? It will become conceptual. Because there is no conceptualization, it is as it is. The teacher said: Therefore, color consciousness without conceptualization will also become excellent. If you say that the mind itself without conceptualization is as it is, then the minds of worldly people, color, etc., arising from causes and conditions, free from the conceptualization of thought and recollection, will also attain the state of being as it is. Here someone says: If it is the mind that is free from the conceptualization of the apprehended and the apprehender, then of course it is not as it is, but the mind of color etc., even if it is non-conceptual, is not real, because it appears as the apprehended, like the mind that sees the two moons etc. Here it says: If because you want to appear as the apprehended, color consciousness is not real, then this reasoning will be confused, and the vow will also be broken.
