Then, monks, whoever has faith in this Maitreya, which is my unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, whoever prostrates to Maitreya, it will be as if they have prostrated to and made offerings to me, the unsurpassed, perfectly complete Buddha. Those whom I teach, and those who are my unsurpassed objects of offering, they should also prostrate to and make offerings to this Bodhisattva Maitreya. Monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, all four assemblies should also prostrate to this regent Maitreya. Having heard the words of the Blessed One, twelve hundred and fifty Arhats said in one voice at the same time: To all the Bodhisattvas who have been empowered as regents, we each prostrate individually. We also prostrate to those who dwell in Lhasas and Lam (place names). Then, Manjushri, become a youth, said to the Venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, do you know, understand, or see the eighty-four thousand conducts of sentient beings known by the Tathagata? Can you speak words that are in accordance with them? He replied: Manjushri, I cannot. He said: Venerable, can you abide in that samadhi, abide in that samadhi that sees all sentient beings, sees the eighty-four thousand conducts of sentient beings, and having known them, can teach the Dharma as it is appropriate? He replied: Manjushri, I cannot. Then, the Venerable Subhuti again said to Manjushri, become a youth: Manjushri, are there some Bodhisattvas who know the eighty-four thousand conducts of sentient beings, and who can teach the Dharma in accordance with the eighty-four thousand conducts of sentient beings? Are there some who teach the Dharma in accordance with the eighty-four thousand dispositions? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, there is a samadhi called "All Dharmas are Equal in Nature and Expanding." Any bodhisattva who attains that samadhi, all those bodhisattvas truly know the eighty-four thousand dispositions of sentient beings, and also teach the Dharma in accordance with the eighty-four thousand dispositions of sentient beings. They also know all the realms that are not those of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the Bodhisattvas are truly wonderful! Blessed One, the Bodhisattvas are truly marvelous! Whatever is not the realm of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, that is the realm of the Bodhisattvas. The Bodhisattvas possess the miraculous powers that the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have. Blessed One, therefore, I prostrate to the Bodhisattvas. This comes from the Bodhisattva Pitaka of the Mahasanghika school, those who dwell on the Eastern Mountain, who are also called those who dwell in the Cycle of Activity. Then, the Venerable Mahakashyapa said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, what kind of omen is this? The Blessed One said: Mahakashyapa, this is a ray of light from the Bodhisattva Net Light, its color is uniform. Its retinue will also turn golden like this. The aspirations of its retinue will also become unified, like this, they will aspire to Omniscience itself. There, the names of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas will not even exist, but it will become a Buddha endowed with a great Bodhisattva Sangha. 这是大地的处所。声闻和独觉道所具有的神通，菩萨们也具有。世尊，为此，我等向菩萨们顶礼。这是大众部圣者们在西山居住者所著的菩萨藏中摘录的。 获得力量和神通自在者，能仁日瑜伽士，普贤等，安住于十地，是三界中常说的，战胜一切言说者，那些声闻独觉，不是他们的行境。将此法施予众生，具有正语者，请您垂听。这是向世尊祈请的语言。具寿大目犍连对世尊这样说道： 诸佛救护者，其法甚深远，菩萨之所有，亦非我等有。世尊为此我等众，菩萨神通力极大，以一切合掌及实物，善妙供养后顶礼。 这是大众部居住在善道宫殿吉祥者所著的极广大的藏中摘录的。菩萨们的身之秘密，语之秘密，意之秘密，这些都不是声闻和独觉的智慧所能进入的。 阿难，菩萨们五百世的转世，也不是声闻和独觉们所能完全知晓的。还有观世音自在的不可思议的行境，也不是声闻和独觉们所能具有的。阿难，仅仅是念诵他的名字的众生，都将远离一切怖畏。如是说后，具寿阿难对世尊这样说道： 世尊，此勇士，无畏大悲者，观世音自在，我顶礼大能仁。这是大众部居住在雪山者所著的本生藏中摘录的。

This is the place of the earth. The miraculous powers possessed by the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are also possessed by the Bodhisattvas. O Bhagavan, therefore, we prostrate to the Bodhisattvas. This is extracted from the Bodhisattva Pitaka of the Arya Mahasanghika sect, those residing on the western mountain. Those who have attained power and mastery of superknowledge, the Sage, the Sun, the Yogin, Samantabhadra, and others, having established themselves on the ten bhumis, are constantly spoken of in the three realms, defeating all speakers, those Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, are not their realm of activity. Bestow this Dharma upon sentient beings, possess the right speech, please listen. This is a prayer to the Bhagavan. The venerable Mahamaugalyayana said this to the Bhagavan: Those Buddhas who are protectors, their Dharma is extremely profound, and what belongs to the Bodhisattvas, is not possessed by us either. O Bhagavan, therefore, we, the Bodhisattvas with great miraculous powers, with all joined palms and real objects, having offered excellent offerings, prostrate. This is extracted from the extremely extensive Pitaka of the Mahasanghika sect, those residing in the auspicious palace of the Good Path. The secrets of the body, speech, and mind of the Bodhisattvas, are not accessible to the wisdom of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Ananda, even about five hundred births of the Bodhisattvas, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas cannot fully know. Moreover, the inconceivable conduct of Avalokiteshvara, the Lord, is not possessed by the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Ananda, all sentient beings who merely hold his name will be freed from all fears. Having spoken thus, the venerable Ananda said this to the Bhagavan: O Bhagavan, this hero, is fearless and possesses great compassion, Avalokiteshvara, the Lord, I prostrate to the Great Sage. This is extracted from the Jataka Pitaka of the Mahasanghika sect, those residing on the snowy mountain.
