Just as I carry it, so it arises, so it abides, and so it is said to perish. Because it is said that way. If the two are not completely established, if it is said that what appears is not there, then why are the two not completely established, such refutation and examination, that and the answer itself remain in the same way. If you think again, objects and sentient beings, I and other consciousnesses, through the appearance of consciousness, greatly generate that person's meaninglessness, and because that is absent, that also is absent. Because it is said that way, because the object is meaningless, it is thought that it cannot be established as a reason, and it is difficult to indicate that object again. If it is said that it is not difficult to indicate, in the Sutra Pitaka it is said: O sons of the Victorious One, like this, these three realms are only mind. Because it is said that way, then that is not an answer, because the words of the Sutra Pitaka are explained elsewhere, and the meaning to be proven is not directly perceived, but is established by scripture and inference. If it is said that consciousness is empty of objects such as Caitra, because it has the characteristic of entering, and because it is a result, and because it is impermanent, and because it is immovable, and because it enters into time, like the mind in a dream that enters by obtaining its own habit, because of such inference, and in the scriptures it is said: External appearances are not existent, body and enjoyment, places are similar, because the mind appears in various ways, I say it is only mind. Because it is said that way, there is no fault. If it is said, what is the meaning of the proposition that consciousness is empty of objects? If that meaning is that consciousness arises from the cause of the seed of habit without depending on external conditions, then if it truly shows that consciousness arises without depending on external conditions, there is no example. If in conventional terms, then it is harmed by fame. By the power of the Buddha, or by the power of the gods, or the initial scriptural inferences, etc., from the consciousnesses born from discrimination, because the meaning of the reason is uncertain, and because the appearance of the Buddha is meaningless, and because the appearance of the meaning belonging to conventional truth is absent, it will also become like that. Because that is not self-existent, the meaning of external objects
