Even becoming like that is easy. Moreover, our own intention is to extensively assert establishment in order to refute emptiness, and that is pervasive. And also, because you have refuted it, the desired meaning is accomplished. Here it is said that understanding emptiness does not make things empty, but rather it makes the non-self-nature of things themselves appear as non-self-nature. For example, the light of a lamp makes it clear that there is no vase in the room, but it does not make it non-existent. Similarly, if it did not exist, it would not exist, therefore this is an unexamined statement. Others say that those who speak of emptiness, wanting to refute the words of others, rely on speaking of emptiness, and when they think they do not understand the scriptures, they wrongly argue that emptiness also does not exist, therefore, this will harm what they have promised. The scripture says: 'Those who thoroughly understand emptiness, they will completely see the nature of reality.' And so on. And, 'Aggregates are not understood, things do not exist, therefore I say emptiness, unarisen, and no self-nature.' And so on. This is not reasonable, because the scripture says: 'Those who understand the Dharma as a raft, should also abandon the Dharma, what need is there to mention non-Dharma?' Similarly, 'One should not cling to form as empty, nor should one cling to non-empty.' Therefore, holding onto the view of emptiness is necessary to abandon other views, and if the meaning of what is held has been examined, then it should be completely abandoned. And, just as discrimination is not emptiness, discrimination itself is also an obstacle to non-discriminating wisdom, therefore one wants to abandon it. And, clinging to it will also become a great fault, therefore there is no fault in completely abandoning it. Thus, the teachers of gods and humans, being compassionate to those sentient beings whose minds are pervaded by the poison of the faults of various views, and whose suffering and unbearable diseases are continuous, therefore, the Buddhas declared that emptiness will surely liberate all views. The seed of various sufferings - views.
