That vow you made, saying "I have inherent existence," is broken. Furthermore, since the emptiness of all things has been previously explained, therefore, even without a vow, you seek a refutation. Here, since we have previously extensively explained the emptiness of all things, there the emptiness of names is also explained. Therefore, even without a vow, you seek this refutation, but we do not say that names exist. Furthermore, what you said, "But if there is inherent existence in this way, then it does not exist in the dharmas; if the dharmas do not have inherent existence, then to whom does it belong, it should be pointed out," should be explained: If one assumes that there is some inherent existence, and it does not exist in the dharmas, then posing this question, that question does not exist. We do not deny the inherent existence of the dharmas, nor do we accept that there is some inherent existence of something apart from the dharmas. If that is the case, if the dharmas do not have inherent existence, then inherent existence, that is, something other than the dharmas, to whom does it belong, it should be pointed out—isn't your prolonged refutation not a refutation? Furthermore, what you said, "Because there is no pot in the house, it negates existence itself, because it is seen, therefore you are negating the inherent existence of existence," should be explained: If it is the negation of existence, then emptiness is completely established, because you are negating the non-inherent existence of things. If it is only the negation of existence, and not the negation of non-existence, and you are also negating the non-inherent existence of all things, then isn't the non-inherent existence of all things completely established? Because your reason negates existence, and because the non-inherent existence of all things is negated, emptiness is completely established. If the emptiness that you negate, that emptiness is also non-existent, then isn't the statement "it is the negation of existence" broken? If you indeed negate the non-inherent existence of all things, that is, emptiness, and that emptiness is also non-existent, then...

If you do not prevent what exists, then it is not non-prevention, and the oath you have made has been violated. Furthermore, like this: Because there is nothing to be prevented, So now nothing is prevented. Therefore, saying that it prevents, That is the slander you have made. If I were to prevent something, then you should say that, because there is nothing to be prevented, so now I do not prevent anything at all. Therefore, all things are empty, because there is no object to be prevented and no agent of prevention, so the slander you have made that it prevents is unfounded. Furthermore, you say: If that self-nature does not exist, What does your word prevent? If it does not exist, without words, Prevention is perfectly established. What you have said needs to be explained here, even without words, the non-existence of prevention can be established. For the phrase "there are no words," it is not to generate or eliminate understanding. Even without your words, or without words, prevention can be established, then what is the use of your words saying "all things are without self-nature"? This question needs to be explained, the phrase "all things are without self-nature" does not make things without self-nature, but rather to make people understand that things are without self-nature. For example, someone says that Lhasbyin is not at home, but says that Lhasbyin is at home, and then someone says that he is not at home, this sentence does not make Lhasbyin non-existent, but only shows that Lhasbyin cannot be at home. Similarly, saying that things have no self-nature, this sentence does not make things have no self-nature, but because all things have no self-nature, like an illusory person, for those who are far from the essence of a true person, because of ignorance, so childish ordinary people are deluded by ignorance, for those who cling to having self-nature, it is to make them understand that self-nature does not exist.
