If so, even without words, that is, apart from words, it is not established as being inherently existent. What you said, "What is the use of the word 'non-inherent existence'?" is not reasonable. Furthermore, as it is said in the scriptures: Just as children mistake a mirage for water, similarly, you mistakenly grasp and refute what exists. Etc., these four verses that you have spoken, I will now explain. Regarding the example of the mirage, what did the Great Traveler say? How does that example apply there? Please analyze carefully and listen. Regarding the example of the mirage, what did the Great Traveler say? Please listen to the analysis of how that example applies there. If grasping were inherently existent, it would not arise dependently. If grasping arises dependently, is it not emptiness itself? If the grasping of water in a mirage were inherently existent, then it would not arise dependently. Why would it depend on a mirage? Because it arises without depending on inverted views and improper attention, therefore it arises dependently. Because it arises dependently, it is therefore empty of inherent existence, just as explained before. Like this, furthermore, if grasping were inherently existent, who could prevent that grasping? The same applies to the rest, therefore that argument is invalid. If grasping water in a mirage were inherently existent, then no one could prevent it. Just as the heat of fire, the moisture of water, and the unobstructedness of the sky are inherent properties that cannot be prevented, but that can also be prevented. Therefore, grasping is not inherently existent. Just as this is, the same should be understood for the remaining five dharmas, such as feeling, etc. Because there are six groups of six there, it cannot be said that all things are not empty. Furthermore, your reason is not established, because of the non-existence of inherent existence.

What is your reason? Where is the meaning you speak of? It is impossible to establish without a reason. Here it is to be said that there is no prior reason for this. Because the answer is the same as what is to be proven. The previous refutation with the example of a mirage, what was said at the time of proof. Now these pedestrians and what was said earlier, it should be considered that there is no reason for another answer. Those pedestrians who were previously said to have blocked the six reasons, here also should do the same. Furthermore, like this, if self-nature exists or not, if you say "blocking is before, refuting is after," that is not reasonable, after and at the same time is also not reasonable. What is said here is to be explained here, what is the reason for the three times of past, present, and future? The answer is the same as that. The reason for your three times of past, present, and future is suitable for those who speak of emptiness. Blocking the reason for the three times of past, present, and future, those said have already been answered. Why? Because it is the same as what is to be proven. Like this, your words blocking the three times of past, present, and future is also unreasonable, just like blocking, what is to be refuted is also the same. Therefore, if there is no blocking and what is to be refuted, you think that blocking has been refuted, that is not right. Blocking the three times, the reason named blocking the three times, is precisely the reason for blocking all things, therefore it exists for those who speak of emptiness, but you do not have it. Or, how is this answered? Because there is nothing to be refuted, I do not block anything. Therefore, saying that I block, that is what you imposed. This is how it is answered. However, the three times of past, present, and future have all established blocking. Because the cause of the past time, the cause of the future time, and the cause of the simultaneous time are seen. Among them, the cause of the past time is like a father. The cause of the future time is like a teacher treating a student. The cause of the simultaneous time is like a manifesting lamp, if you think like that, that is not so, the fault of this reason has been said before. Furthermore, if that is the case, refutation is possible
