If you have made a commitment, but that has not been established, then your vows will also be broken. Therefore, the obstruction of inherent existence is also established. For whom emptiness is possible, for him all things are possible. For whom emptiness is impossible, for him nothing is possible. For whom this emptiness is possible, for him all things, both worldly and transcendental, are possible. Why? Because for whom existence is possible, for him dependent origination, the Four Noble Truths, the fruits of the ascetic, and especially all realizations are possible. For whom especially all realizations are possible, for him the Three Jewels, namely the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, are possible. For whom dependent origination is possible, for him Dharma, the cause of Dharma, the result of Dharma, non-Dharma, the cause of non-Dharma, and the result of non-Dharma are possible. For whom Dharma and non-Dharma, cause and effect are possible, for him afflictions and the arising of afflictions, and the roots of afflictions are possible. For whom all that has been previously shown is possible, for him the distinction between happy and unhappy realms, and the beings who go to happy and unhappy realms, and liberation from happy and unhappy realms, and the means of liberation from happy and unhappy realms, and all worldly conventions are distinguishable, because as much as language can express, understand it yourself in this way. Here also, whoever is emptiness and dependent arising, in the Middle Way they are of the same meaning, to the supreme Buddha who is incomparable, I prostrate. The commentary on the refutation of disputes, residing on the first ground, the Joyful One, is completed, composed by the teacher, the noble Nagarjuna. Eliminating the darkness of arguing about existence or non-existence, the profound teaching of non-duality, suchness, has become the light of Dharma, may all beings born in the womb of existence, gods, humans, and asuras, be virtuous. May the plague of the demon of grasping at reality be always averted, dispelling the darkness of this world, this lineage is immaculate and unwavering. The Indian abbot Jñānagarbha and the translator Palabrtsegs Raksita translated and finalized it.
