Understanding all things as empty is called wisdom. Wisdom enables one to reach the other shore, hence it is called Paramita. There are three types of Paramita: worldly Paramita, transcendent Paramita, and transcendent ultimate Paramita. Among them, worldly Paramita is abandoning the suffering of the three realms of samsara. Transcendent Paramita is abandoning the cycle of birth and death, and attaining the peaceful, single-flavored Nirvana. Transcendent ultimate Paramita is that, since the three realms are like a dream, there is no desire even for Nirvana; since sentient beings are like illusions, there is no expectation even for the fruit of Buddhahood; because all dharmas are naturally in Nirvana, attaining non-abiding Nirvana is attaining the ultimate Paramita. So, what is the Prajnaparamita? Therefore, the so-called profound conduct is mentioned, profound means without arising and ceasing. Conduct refers to meaning, without arising and ceasing is Prajnaparamita. Discrimination is focusing on the meaning of no arising and ceasing. Not only focusing on the meaning of no arising and ceasing, but also viewing the five skandhas, such as form, as emptiness. Among them, there are two types of emptiness: unconditioned space emptiness and, in the ultimate truth, the emptiness of the wisdom of the noble ones, which is free from grasping and being grasped, and self-aware by each individual. Regarding these five skandhas, viewing them as emptiness free from grasping and being grasped, that is its meaning. There are three types of views: the views of ordinary beings, the views of non-Buddhists, the views of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the views of Bodhisattvas and Tathagatas. Among them, ordinary beings and non-Buddhists view the five skandhas as life, self, and person. Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas view the five skandhas as origin and suffering. Bodhisattvas and Tathagatas see and view the five skandhas as naturally empty. This is entering into wisdom, and because the means of entering is not known, the words of inquiry are shown, and what is that? Then

Etc. Why did the venerable Shariputra not ask other Bodhisattvas, but asked the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara? To this, it is said: When this Prajnaparamita is being taught, among the countless hundreds of thousands of retinues gathered, that Bodhisattva is the main one, therefore, by the power of the Buddha, the venerable Shariputra, in order to dispel the doubts of himself and others, asked him about the meanings that will appear below. Then, it refers to the meaning below all that has been said. The blessing of the Buddha refers to the blessing of the Tathagatas. Shariputra is named by cutting and affixing from the name of the mother Sharika, so it is called Shariputra. Saying this means asking about the meanings that will appear below. Whoever, means the synonym of whoever. Prajnaparamita, there are two kinds of wisdom: conventional wisdom and ultimate wisdom. Among them, conventional wisdom is to know all dharmas as illusion, mirage, and dream. Ultimate wisdom is to know all dharmas as unspeakable and inconceivable like the face of the sky. With that wisdom, one can reach non-abiding Nirvana, so it is called Prajnaparamita. In fact, Prajnaparamita refers to the profound meaning of no birth and no death. The practitioner is the person, the Bodhisattva. The practice is the Dharma, the Prajnaparamita. How to learn, means how to enter the meaning of Prajnaparamita through listening, thinking and meditating. There are two ways, that is, one should learn the four practices: the four practices refer to practicing in the ultimate truth of non-discriminating wisdom, practicing in the dharmas of the Bodhipakshika without affliction, practicing in maturing sentient beings without attachment, and practicing in maturing the Buddha's Dharma without attachment.

It is the practice. How to train means the synonym for how to practice those four practices. This is the nature of wisdom. If you do not understand the nature, you cannot understand the meaning. Therefore, it is indicated by the words of answering to Bodhisattva Mahasattva and so on. Saying this to Shariputra is a synonym for "saying like this" which will appear below. To examine in this way is a synonym for practicing Prajnaparamita in this way. How to train? Therefore, it is said that "the five aggregates are also viewed as empty in their own nature." The five aggregates are form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Self-nature is empty, and there are five kinds of emptiness: emptiness of what was not before, emptiness of what is not after destruction, emptiness of extreme non-existence, emptiness of one without the other, and emptiness of self-nature. Among them, the absence of cheese in milk is the emptiness of what was not before. The absence of milk in cheese is the emptiness of peaceful abiding. The absence of horns on the lower part of a rabbit's head is the emptiness of extreme non-existence. The absence of a horse on a cow is the emptiness of one without the other. The absence of self-nature in all dharmas is the emptiness of self-nature. Among the five kinds of emptiness, the five aggregates should be viewed as empty with the emptiness of self-nature. Form is emptiness, and form refers to earth, water, fire, and wind. Emptiness refers to the nature of emptiness of the ultimate reality, the Dharma realm. Therefore, those forms are emptiness. The nature of emptiness is non-duality, beyond number and counting, abandoning the view of self and what belongs to self, and being free from the grasped and the grasper. Therefore, non-duality is the nature of suchness. Since all dharmas are included in the nature of emptiness, the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind are also without nature, without things, without self, and without a master. It is not that they become emptiness after being broken down into dust, but because their self-nature is empty, it is said that form is emptiness.
