Should be intended. Regarding the teaching of being free from all afflictions, it should be understood as being free from all afflictions and being free from all afflictions of samsara. In this regard, regarding the excellence of a perfectly pure realm, the Blessed One said, "If Subhuti Bodhisattva says, 'I will accomplish the adornments of the realm,' etc." Regarding the excellence of the complete purity of unsurpassed view, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have a physical eye?" etc. Regarding the excellence of the complete purity of unsurpassed wisdom, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? How many sands are there in the Ganges River?" etc. Regarding the excellence of the power of the accumulation of merit, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? The three thousand great thousand worlds." etc. Regarding the excellence of the complete body of marks and signs, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Can the Tathagata be seen by the complete body of form?" etc. Regarding the excellence of the body endowed with excellent marks, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Can the Tathagata be seen by being endowed with excellent marks?" etc. Regarding the excellence of the complete speech, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata think, 'I have taught the Dharma'?" etc. Regarding the excellence of the complete mind, that is, the excellence of abiding in mindfulness, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, they are neither sentient beings nor non-sentient beings." etc. Regarding the excellence of manifesting complete enlightenment, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata manifest unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, is that Dharma existent?" etc. Regarding the excellence of establishing the Dharma as a great meaning, the Blessed One further said, "Subhuti, how many Mount Sumerus, king of mountains, are there in the three thousand great thousand worlds?" etc.

These words were spoken. In terms of empowerment as a profound instruction, Subhuti, what do you think? The Tathagata said, I think, I have liberated sentient beings, and so on. In terms of the empowerment of the complete Dharma body, Subhuti, what do you think? Do you see the Tathagata by means of the perfection of signs? And so on. Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata realize unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment by means of the perfection of signs? If someone asks this, what does it mean? It means that the Bodhi that possesses the nature of the perfection of signs also possesses the cause of the perfection of signs, which is to fully clarify this principle. In terms of the empowerment of not abiding in Nirvana, Subhuti, do you think that those who have entered the Bodhisattva vehicle will destroy some Dharmas? And so on. In terms of the empowerment of not abiding in Samsara, Subhuti, should Bodhisattvas not fully grasp the accumulation of merit? And so on. One should fully grasp, Subhuti, one should not grasp, meaning that it is not grasped by the path, just like the accumulation of merit, these will not truly arise either. In terms of the empowerment of completely pure going and abiding, which is the going and abiding of behavior, someone might ask, where did the Tathagata go? And so on. In terms of the empowerment of controlling going and abiding by contemplating form and name, Subhuti, whether it is a son or daughter of good family, if someone in the three thousand great thousand worlds, how many dust particles are there? And so on. From the going and abiding without defilement of Samsara, in terms of the empowerment without defilement, Subhuti, the Bodhisattva in immeasurable and countless worlds, and so on. The empowerment of the undefiled of Samsara

Having thus applied the mind, like stars, dimness, and lamps, illusions, dewdrops, and bubbles, dreams, lightning, and clouds, conditioned things should be viewed as such. This verse shows the four characteristics of conditioned things: the characteristic of self-nature, the characteristic of experiencing taste in a place that is not attachment, the characteristic of following after faults, and the characteristic of following after definite departure. Among these, the characteristic of self-nature is that the view with characteristics is consciousness. Among these, the characteristic should be viewed like a star. Why? Because it appears in the darkness of ignorance, and although it exists in the light of wisdom, it does not appear. Viewing persons and things should be like dimness. Why? Because it grasps things that have never existed. Consciousness should be viewed like a lamp. Why? Because it burns by relying on the close acquisition of the oil of desire. Among these, the characteristic of experiencing taste in a place that is not attachment is the experience of an object that should be established in a reversed manner. It should be viewed as an illusion. Why? Because it is a reversed appearance. Among these, the characteristic of following after faults is that it follows after impermanence and also follows after suffering. Among these, the dewdrop itself clearly reveals the truth that the body is connected with momentary impermanence. The bubble itself is like a bubble, which is the truth that feeling is connected with suffering. Whatever little feeling there is, it is said that this is suffering. Thus, suffering is experienced in three ways as appropriate. Among these, that which arises from birth is the suffering of suffering. That which arises from separation is the suffering of change. That which arises from being properly united and not separated is the suffering of conditioning. Moreover, in the four meditations and the formless states, the feeling that is neither suffering nor happiness is mainly established. Among these, the characteristic of following after definite departure is that which
