Seeking instructions, as well as realization, and even higher than that is seeking by the Buddha. These eighteen aspects are the basis, upon which a Bodhisattva should abide, should practice, and should extremely hold the mind. In order to liberate all sentient beings from suffering, after generating Bodhicitta, diligently engage in the Paramitas, and generate the desire to realize the Rupakaya or Dharmakaya proclaimed by the Tathagata. Through the obstacles of realization, make the mind completely tranquil, and eliminate manifest pride, in order to achieve the ultimate, the completely tranquil mind seeks the instructions for realization. By this, one can realize, and even higher than that is seeking by the Buddha, therefore one should understand these sequences. Among them, in terms of generating Bodhicitta, the Bodhisattva should generate Bodhicitta in this way, etc., this is what is said. In terms of practicing the Paramitas, the Bodhisattva should give alms without dwelling on things, this is what is said. In terms of desiring to obtain the Rupakaya, Subhuti, what do you think? Can one view the Tathagata by means of the perfection of marks? etc., this is what is said. The Dharmakaya also has two types, the Dharmakaya of teaching and the Dharmakaya of realization. Among them, the Dharmakaya of realization also has two types, the nature of wisdom and the nature of merit. Among them, in terms of desiring to obtain the Dharmakaya of teaching, World Honored One, in the future, will there be any sentient beings who will appear? etc., this is what is said. The understanding of the meaning of non-reversal should also be understood here as the correct understanding, because of clinging to the meaning that does not conform to the literal meaning, therefore thinking that these are correct understandings. In terms of desiring to obtain the Dharmakaya of the nature of wisdom, when the Tathagata attained Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, is there any Dharma that is realized as Buddhahood?

Thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on the desire to attain the Dharmakaya, the nature of merit, whatever one says, "This three-thousand great thousand world system," and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on the absence of pride in realizing distinctions through meditation, for a stream-enterer thinking, "Thus," and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on pleasing the Buddhas, the Tathagata said, "Is there anything of the Dharma that the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, received from Dipamkara Buddha?" and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on the aspiration for a pure land, Subhuti! Whatever Bodhisattva says, "I will accomplish the array of Buddha-fields," and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on ripening sentient beings, Subhuti! For example, a person, and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on being separated from attachment to meaningless non-Buddhist scriptures, Subhuti! What do you think? As many Ganges rivers as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on the practice of being separated from grasping the aggregates of sentient beings' bodies, again, Subhuti! Whatever son or daughter of good family, in the three-thousand great thousand world system, how many dust motes of earth there are, and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on worshipping and serving the Tathagata, Subhuti! What do you think? Can the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, be seen by means of the thirty-two marks of a great person? and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Predicated on turning back diligence from exhaustion and complete suffering, being separated from uninitiated gain and reverence, again, Subhuti! Whatever man or woman gives away as many bodies as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, and so on, thus and so forth were spoken. Among these, exhaustion is of the body, while complete suffering is of the mind; turning back diligence from these, uninitiated

Based on enduring suffering. Furthermore, Subhuti! The Tathagata spoke of what is called paramita, and so on. Based on being devoid of tasting the flavor of samadhi. Furthermore, Subhuti! Whether male or female, whose body is like the sands of the Ganges River, and so on. Based on, at the time of realization, holding the thought of 'I'. World Honored One! How should a Bodhisattva abide? And so on. Based on completely seeking the oral instructions. Did the Tathagata, from the Tathagata Dipamkara, attain the Dharma of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment? And so on. Based on realization. Subhuti! For example, a person possesses a body and a great body. And so on. Among them, possessing a body means obtaining a body, that is, obtaining the perfection of the body, reaching the ultimate state of transformation. Having a great body means taking the bodies of all sentient beings. From this above, one should know to completely seek the Buddha-ground. The Buddha-ground is also the transformation supported by the six perfections. The six perfections are as follows: Pure land perfection, unsurpassed vision and wisdom completely purified perfection, power over the accumulation of merit perfection, body perfection, speech perfection, mind perfection. Mind perfection also refers to mindfulness, complete enlightenment, establishing as the Dharma of great meaning, establishing as the oral instruction of great meaning, encompassing the Dharmakaya, not abiding in Nirvana and Samsara, one should know that going and dwelling are completely purified. Completely purified going and dwelling also refers to the conduct of going and dwelling, as well as the going and dwelling of the power of meditating on form and name, and the going and dwelling without afflictions, and so on.
