Uninterrupted is individually realizing, that is, the phenomena of samsara are mastered like images and emanations, thereby again entering for the benefit of sentient beings. This temporarily prevents the sole Suchness of those who only walk in peace, thereby clearly showing the non-abiding in Nirvana. Then, in order to not abide in Nirvana and completely abandon association with all defilements in samsara, like this: Again, noble son or noble daughter, etc., is widely spoken. Among them, what is the meaning of "selfless and unborn dharmas"? That is, the entering of dharmas, like the nature of an emanation, which is mastered by the Tathagata, that is not the nature of samsaric dharmas, and likewise, it is not born from karma and defilements, and that which is mastered is called selfless and unborn. What is the understanding of this? In other places it is also said that by completely holding the aforementioned merit, one will not be completely defiled by afflictions in samsara. Bodhisattvas' patience with selflessness and unbornness, what need is there to mention? Because by obtaining the patience of unbornness, a great amount of merit will arise. Again, noble son, a Bodhisattva should not completely grasp the heap of merit, that clearly shows the non-abiding in samsara. By not abiding in samsara, one holds the heap of merit. The venerable Subhuti asked: What is the meaning of not completely grasping the heap of merit? The Blessed One said: In other places it is said that one should completely grasp the heap of merit. The Blessed One taught: Although one can grasp, one should not grasp wrongly. Then, in different ways, it is shown that one should completely grasp. How does one not grasp wrongly? Just like what was said before, those are the ones. Those whose minds are perfect, under the control of the conduct of walking and dwelling. Again, noble son, if someone says this: The Tathagata has gone or come, etc., is widely spoken. Among them, walking is moving, and dwelling is staying. The remainder is the manner of conduct. Form
