It is so. Why is that? It means to ask universally, what is the reason? It means that because it is separated from the cause of seeing, although it exists, it is not visible? Is it like a vase, etc., in a dark room? Is it like a horse's horn, etc., because it is non-existent? Here, the answer is: "Discrimination is said to be because it is devoid of sentient beings." "Sentient beings" means living beings. Their collection, in the state of permanence, is considered by taking the nature of differences, etc., that should be taken. "Without sentient beings" means non-existence. If there are no sentient beings, then how can you preach the Dharma and succeed at the time of Bodhi? This means that in order to make the son of a widow understand, it shows that there are no wise men who can preach the Dharma. Manjushri, if it is separated from sentient beings, and because of sentient beings that are not sentient beings, etc., it is a debater. Having said that, the youth Manjushri said to the venerable son of Sharadvati as follows: Venerable son of Sharadvati, when sentient beings are extremely invisible, etc., is the answer. Sentient beings are extremely invisible because there is nothing to take, etc. At that time, who will manifest perfect enlightenment? No one can. It is thought that there is no one who manifests perfect enlightenment, and that no one can manifest perfect enlightenment, and that there is no manifestation of perfect enlightenment. What should be shown is what Dharma should be taught? It is because there is no general aspect of the Dharma to be taught, and because there is no general nature of the voice of the speaker, and because there is no one who holds it. Why is that? It means the intention of the questioner, because there are no sentient beings who listen. This is the meaning of the words. How is it? It is because all Dharmas in the continuum of self and others are extremely devoid of grasping, etc. Thus, because all Dharmas are extremely invisible, this clarifies the meaning of how to show it. The one who asks himself, if he waits for the question of others, then it is because he does not want to constantly interrupt the Dharma, and he does not like interruptions, and the questioner also does not.

It is for the benefit of those who do not ask because they lack knowledge or pride. Those words of the noble Manjushri have abandoned the extreme of superimposition, and without understanding the meaning of that intention, they understand that there are no sentient beings, etc., and fall into the extreme of slander, which becomes manifest. Therefore, the Bhagavan said, "Manjushri, when all dharmas are completely unattainable, do you also cling to sentient beings?" This is to explain why. Also, the word "also" is to gather together the previous compassion and the collections of perfections. If it is said that it is not clinging itself, that is not permissible, because that establishment must be made, otherwise it will be taken advantage of by demons. For example, if someone asks how many sentient beings there are, then those who have fallen into extremes and have doubtful minds will ask how many sentient beings there are. If asked in this way, how should one answer? One should answer that there are as many Buddhadharmas as there are sentient beings, which is to show that sentient beings are infinite and non-dual. As many Buddhadharmas as there are, that many sentient beings, free from all nets of discrimination, are of a non-dual nature. How much is the measure of the realm of sentient beings, which means how much is this measure. The measure of the Buddha's land is also the same. The Buddha's land is the Dharmadhatu, because it is all-pervasive, so it is inconceivable. These two examples also express the non-dual Suchness, but they differentiate the meaning of the two previous questions from the perspective of wanting to express only the limbs and the one with limbs. Even if the limbs and the one with limbs are not different, in order to clarify the same meaning through the various thoughts of the questioner, two aspects are shown. Thus, because there are countless sentient beings, the extreme of annihilation is not reasonable, which is the summarized meaning. Manjushri, if someone asks you where the realm of sentient beings belongs,
