It is the act of contemplation. Those do not completely destroy it, because from the very beginning it is itself completely destroyed. Why is it said that this Dharma called "unborn" has been shown? If it is said that it was composed in order to completely eliminate fear, then does saying so not also merely express extreme fear? There is no fault, because it is shown in this way in consideration of the differences of those to be tamed. It is for the sake of those who hold that "non-virtue etc. are not born" that it is shown in this way. From other aspects, in this place called "unborn," the appearance of "truly, this is its limit" is explained in this way: "Truly" refers to suchness etc. "Limit" refers to assembly, excellence, and culmination. Or, "Bhuta" refers to sentient beings, and it is explained that its excellence or things are the culmination of existence etc. in order to not be afraid. Furthermore, Blessed One, I have shown the Dharma to him in this way, that there is no sentient being who has passed into nirvana, is passing into nirvana, or will pass into nirvana, which is a superfluous word. Therefore, this is shown as the Dharma of "no complete nirvana." This is also shown in order to make those who are afraid of nirvana desire it, because it is said to be without substance. Why is that? This is thinking about how to explain it in order to show the means of complete nirvana, or in order to hear it. The meaning is, Blessed One, it is said that existence like this is for the sake of being very imperceptible, because this is not an existence that can be pointed to, so existence is imperceptible. Its thing itself is imperceptible. Existence is imperceptible, because it is not something to be pointed to. Existence is self-nature. Blessed One, that is how it is asked. Then, what is called "na" is the meaning of attention, which is superfluous. I say, "I do it like that," with the implication of the words as shown. Then, for those who are fortunate and do not cling to the Dharma that appears to exist, it is also expressed with the implication of words.

If asked, "Is it not so?" Because it is said, "It is not." The Bhagavan also said, "In order to listen to this profound Prajnaparamita from me, etc." At that time, in order to grasp the truth of the meaning, I said this. What is meant by "said this"? If you want to listen, do not trust the thought of "Let's listen." Do not indulge in the thought of "Let's listen." Do not generate the thought of "Let's listen." Or, "Do not trust" means do not dwell on the thought of "Let's listen." This meaning is that do not generate the thought of "Let's listen," which means do not be attached to listening. If you do not generate such a thought, then how can you listen to the Dharma that is being taught? Therefore, (the Buddha said) "O son of noble family, generate the wisdom of a magical illusionist's son, and you will be able to understand the Dharma that is being taught." Just as the illusionist's son does not fixate on or cling to the elephant, etc., that he himself conjures, so too, you should not cling to listening to the Dharma that is being taught. The son of a magical illusion is the son of a magical illusionist, which is to extract the intermediate words from the heart. He has no attachment to wisdom. "Like that" refers to the reasoning that will appear below. How can I dwell in a place without support? The example of the wisdom of the son of a magical illusionist is also not reasonable, because they also have a common deception, and the questioning also relies on the function of the ears, etc. To this, (the Buddha said) "O son of noble family, if you want to listen to the Dharma being taught from me, you should abide in this way." What is that like? It is like abiding like the trace of a bird in the sky. Because only in that way can you listen to the Dharma being taught, otherwise you cannot. This is taught in this way: There is no meaning of abiding transformation here, but rather to abandon all attachment.

It is said that this is the way it is. For example, the position of a bird in the sky, apart from the wind within its own wings, does not depend on anything to stay in the middle. Likewise, you should also manifest the wisdom that is apart from the five aggregates, free from attachment, and abide in it. Do not dwell on self and what belongs to self. The essence of two and non-two is undoubtedly the only thing to focus on. If you do not rely on it, then what else should you rely on to destroy the concept of self? One should transcend thoughts and annihilation, etc., of views. One should also especially focus on the teachings of the Buddha. One should also transcend the teachings of ordinary beings. Like this, all of these, for example, from eye and form, to mind and dharma, because the Hearers regard them as object and object-holder, they conceive of self, and they abandon those views that are different from this. Bodhisattvas, because they only focus on the non-dual Suchness, abandon others. They also rely on the teachings of the Buddha. If it is said that, due to these reasons, these two also transcend the teachings of ordinary beings, then, therefore, if, O noble one, you wish to hear this Dharma teaching, then do not focus on two, nor focus on non-two, thus it is said. Here again, it is asked: Why is that? Here, just as what is needed, the answer is not obtained, this is a concluding remark. The answer is: Because here, there is nothing that can be called two, or completely called two, nor is there anything that can be called non-two, or completely called non-two. Although the showing of two and non-two from other aspects has been explained, that is to suit the dispositions of those to be tamed. Here, because this Dharma category is the meaning that is determined as only one, therefore no two is explained. Here, is it not only non-duality that is shown? It is not, because if one also focuses on non-duality itself, then one has not transcended the nature of two. Then, why thoroughly...
