What are the dharmas of ordinary beings? What are the dharmas of the noble ones? In this way, one will know the difference between conventional truth and ultimate truth in terms of their objects. If one abandons these conceptualizations by relying on a virtuous friend, then the virtuous friend is that you have already served and honored countless immeasurable virtuous friends, therefore, the supreme of all sentient beings is the Tathagata, similarly, possessing inconceivable dharmas, and subduing the Shravakas, is a supreme field of merit, for these conceptualizations, some may doubt why they appear? In order to answer these questions in order, (the Buddha) said, "Manjushri, do you think the Tathagata is the supreme of all sentient beings?" and so on. In order to explain the measure of obtaining the fruit, (the Buddha said) these conceptualizations of mine follow the conventional path, but are not manifestly attached to reality. If there are some beings who are completely established here, etc., (the Buddha) said this, because beings themselves are not established in the ultimate sense, because dharmas and persons are selfless. In relation to this, how can one think that the Tathagata is supreme? This is a concluding remark. If there are some who possess the dharma of contemplation, etc., for this, because dharmas and persons are selfless, only because the dharma and dharmata are in accordance with it, or the nature of attainment, or the nature of relation does not exist, so there is no one who possesses the dharma of contemplation, then in relation to this, how can one think that the Tathagata possesses inconceivable dharmas? This is (the Buddha's) intention. Bhagavan, if someone subdues the inconceivable realm, etc., like this, subduing is to be free from faults, and to generate merits. The so-called Shravakas, other than subduing them, there is no other inconceivable one, like this, whether it is any fault such as desire, their self-nature dissipating is not subduing. Whether it is any merit, the habituation of the antidote is also naturally

Becoming completely pure. If those had not been tamed before, how could they be said to be tamed? Therefore, for those practitioners who have not previously removed their afflictions, if they merely cling to solitary appearances and see those who are not truly children, the term 'tamed' arises from the false notion that they have been tamed. Therefore, I do not conceive that the Shravakas have been tamed by the Tathagata. Furthermore, taming is accomplished solely by the power of the non-discriminating aspect of protection. Therefore, the term 'tamed' is used. However, the Bhagavan has never made any effort to tame them. Therefore, I do not think that I have been tamed by the Tathagata. The appearance of the Bhagavan Buddha is neither beneficial nor harmful to anything. Benefit is the collection of qualities, harm is the collection of faults, and 'nearness' refers to the interval between entering and acting with prior consideration. Why is that? If it is not near to doing either benefit or harm to anything, then how does it eliminate the objects of thought for ordinary beings and establish the inconceivable objects for the Shravakas and others? To show that this itself is false, it is said, 'Thus, this realm is existence itself,' meaning that it exists even in the state of ordinary beings. 'This realm is non-admixture itself' means that it is unmixed with objects of thought, and that the realm is always like that. What is that realm? It is said, 'Thus, it is because it is an inconceivable realm,' which is another word for emptiness. Therefore, in that realm, no distinction is seen between different Shravakas and different ordinary beings, because all are equal in their very nature. The distinction that is established is the abandonment of defilements and the non-abandonment of defilements. By mentioning 'in between,' Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and fully enlightened Buddhas are included. Bhagavan, because of the non-existence of things, this term refers to grasping and so on.
