If someone wants to make fun with meaningless words, then that statement arises due to the power of delusion. The appearance that is deluded, also because one wants it to be as it appears, therefore it is said regarding anything that is not truly established, and so on. This is also unreasonable in the essence of meaning, because it is unclear, and so on. If the body of the Blessed One is beyond all realms of activity, then by what means should it be realized? Therefore, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said, "One who wishes to seek the Tathagata should seek the self (Tibetan: བདག, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ātma, literal Chinese meaning: self)." It should be examined. If there is any connection between these two, then by what should it be realized, and therefore one seeks it? The word "self (Tibetan: བདག, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ātma, literal Chinese meaning: self)" is a respectful term for the Buddha, because it is the same in the nature of reality, this is his intention. How is sameness shown? Just as the "self (Tibetan: བདག, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ātma, literal Chinese meaning: self)" that is universally examined by the non-Buddhists is completely non-existent and non-existent, therefore it is invisible. Similarly, the Buddha is also completely non-existent and invisible. Is it not because the Buddha is spoken of as having realized all phenomena, such as the past? As it is said in the scriptures, "The Buddha sees the past." and so on. If someone says that, it is not so, because in this way, there is neither a realizer, nor realization, nor something to be realized, because it is separated from the grasped and the grasper. The Tathagata arises with unerring knowledge of the past, and because of attachment to its essence, it is spoken of in that way. Therefore, just as the word "self (Tibetan: བདག, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ātma, literal Chinese meaning: self)", for everything such as the past, there is no dharma that can be expressed in words, similarly, the one who shows is also the same. In this way, for the one who shows, although there is nothing that needs to be fully understood, nor any essence of omniscience, etc., that can be counted, but by the blessing of the wisdom that is not defiled by the delusion of clinging to the essence of things, the Buddha is said to accomplish the perfect wishes of beings. If the Blessed One is to be viewed in this way, it is very easy, so why make such a great effort for this? Arising from hearing and thinking.

In order to generate the essential thought in wisdom and to dispel conceptualizations, it is said that "the common term 'I' as a basis is not easy to understand." Because the thought of 'I' is habitual from beginningless time, without the wisdom arising from perfect cultivation, it cannot be dispelled by merely taking hearing as essential. Therefore, like this, I, as the object itself, eliminate by thoroughly refuting. And refuting it can only be transformed from the perfection without cultivation. As it is said: If one individually understands the selflessness of phenomena, if one examines individually and then cultivates, by this cause one obtains the fruit of Nirvana, by other causes there is no pacification. Thus it is said. "The common term 'I' as a basis, it is not easy to correctly understand by the basislessness itself," this is the summarized meaning. The common term 'Buddha' as a basis is also the same. Attachment to the appearance of reality is accumulated from beginningless time, without cultivating non-apprehension, it will not change. Therefore, the meaning here is that one must manifest only the wisdom arising from cultivation, therefore one should strive to abide in this. The noble Manjushri has already understood with his own power, just like having following love for oneself, it is for the newcomers. It is said, "It does not instruct like a beginner." Why is it not clearly instructed? Because in reality it also instructs in a way that even beginners can understand. The noble one also wants to continue with the remaining distinctions, in order to clearly instruct the arising of his own wisdom, he said, "How did I, the son of the venerable Sharadvati, become an Arhat, even with guardians," and so on. Realization is what is done, abiding in the happiness of the visible Dharma, etc., for those who deliberately guard and possess the state of mind, it is the done with guardians. It is so until the Arhat realizes liberation, between sharp faculties. The phrase 'How am I understood by anyone' is the summary of all (content). Therefore, the Blessed One should also be included. Therefore,
