The deceased ones promise and explain with "Dharmadhatu" etc. If the Dharmadhatu becomes manifestly perfectly enlightened, then at that time or because of that, the unborn realm of unconditioned nature itself will contradict it, thereby causing harm. In order to stabilize the true meaning of the unconditioned, it is said that "Dharmadhatu itself is Bodhi." Regarding "Dharmadhatu itself is Bodhi," Dharmadhatu is to be cultivated, and Bodhi is to be attained. Therefore, regarding the doubt of "how are these two, which have become cause and effect, undifferentiated?" the answer is: "Because Dharmadhatu is without substance." Saying "substance" refers to existing substance, and whatever is unborn or non-existent is without substance. Saying "reason" means "because of what." In short, Dharmadhatu is like that. The phrase "all dharmas are without self-nature" is the supreme word of Bodhi, and this phrase shows the self-nature of Bodhi. Therefore, since non-substance and all dharmas being non-existent are undifferentiated, Dharmadhatu and Bodhi are not different entities. Indicating that point is "that is entering the ranks of Dharmadhatu," meaning that the nature of non-existence of all dharmas, which is Bodhi, since it is the substance of knowing the self-nature, it enters the ranks called Dharmadhatu and can be spoken of. Here, for the doubt, as a reason, "all dharmas" etc. are mentioned, all dharmas are without difference and have the same nature. If it is thought that the reason is not established, then the answer is "in the realm of the Buddha," that is, in the sphere of activity of ultimate perfection and non-erroneous wisdom. Saying "reason" means "because of what." Therefore, this shows that whatever is considered to be a variety of natures that are not truly conceptualized is the sphere of activity of deluded consciousness. The venerable son of Sharadvati said that "without difference" means "without discriminating consciousness," which is showing without difference, that is, knowing in detail.

It is, namely, consciousness. That which is absent in something is non-consciousness. Here, as a reason, the term "non-consciousness" means the inability to know, as stated, meaning the inability to know oneself and others. Whether in conditioned phenomena produced by causes or in unconditioned phenomena that are the opposite, there is an inability to know. The word "between" also includes permanence and impermanence, and so on. The word "also" refers to mutual dependence between the two. Thus, in the Buddha's realm, where there is no difference, there is no distinction of forms such as conditioned phenomena, and no consciousness whatsoever. Therefore, it is non-consciousness. Having thus shown that there are no diverse phenomena of objects, and in order to show that there are also no diverse phenomena of the objective realm, all phenomena are non-consciousness, as stated. Here, a question arises: as a reason, why is it that all phenomena such as form reside in something, abide in various ways, and become consciousness, become knowledge, and become the birth that encompasses self and others, arising, obtaining the existence of self, because there is no such thing? These are the aspects of the nature of the meaning of that very thing. The ordinary beings and so on have already been shown. Now, their dharma will be spoken of. The aspect of the mode of intention is that, for them, the dharma of ordinary beings is like this: that which is called "uninterrupted" is unbearable. Those who enter into it are shown to be entering into the inconceivable itself. Thus, it is shown that the uninterrupted ones are the nature of enlightenment. Those also, by the word "also," refer to the non-virtuous and so on other than that, and the unspecified, and the virtuous and so on, and all those dharmas of ordinary beings, learners, and non-learners, should also be seen as the very nature of enlightenment. Thus, here it is said to be common, and it will be shown below by the concluding words. The specific explanation will be explained by individual words. Therefore, those who are called "uninterrupted" and so on are spoken of. Entering into the uninterrupted means abiding in the uninterrupted. Those who enter into the inconceivable, as it is said, are ordinary beings who have not entered into the teachings.
