It is realization, and it is called having realization. By its power, it is not the object of any one thing, so for those, only their own nature is the object, but this holds the realization of the previous and subsequent natures as refutation. Because there are those who do not hold the previous and subsequent, who would think of its nature as the nature of cause and effect? Why? This is not something done only by direct perception. Therefore, at the time of manifest attachment without self-awareness, this is all merely a nominal application. But when one's own nature is known and focused, where is the application of the different previous and subsequent natures? The mind is neither before nor after. The one who holds it is neither self nor other. It is said that holding onto conceptualization from the outside will defeat needle pricks and kasang. Thus, it is appropriate to abide, also with emptiness and purity, because it is never the object of realization. At another time, who sees what at what time? If doubt about the cause does not harm, then that, in which all objects of focus are pacified, is merely a term for the absence of things. As in the state of not focusing on what is to be focused on, it is the cause of pacifying all objects of focus. Therefore, this nature of cause and effect, because it does not focus on something that has changed before and after, is said to be devoid of the existence of focus, and is non-existent like an external object. Therefore, if it is said that the destruction of form is impermanent, then there is no overreach in those, it is true, but some of those that arise now have dry conceptualizations that are rootless. The former ones do not follow in that way, as it is said, in the suchness of dependent arising, because the nature of the object of conceptual consciousness, such as arising, is not to be spoken of, by the power of non-cessation and also non-permanence, also without outflows, this follows. This dry conceptualization is not exhaustive even in this, because it is harmful due to the absence of its own acceptance. Thus, those who desire liberation, holding their own tenets as true, this is the cause of afflictions and suffering, and the cause of the mind that is liberated from suffering, must be promised in the future in any way.
