To slander everything will cause rebirth in the lower realms. To strive for the sake of Dharma and to strive for liberation from suffering is actually deceiving others. One becomes lax in the objects of training, but one who has a view of self is not like that. Therefore, it is said, "The body is not cultivated," etc., because one does not conform to peaceful conduct, etc., therefore it is not cultivated. "Morality is not cultivated" means that one becomes lax in the objects of training. "The mind is not cultivated" means that one is not fully in accordance with morality, there is no expanse, and one cannot quickly turn towards samadhi, because these are lacking. If at the same time one experiences the suffering of existence and aversion, etc., even if samadhi arises, it is not an antidote to faults because it focuses on things that are not as they are. Therefore, the so-called wrong samadhi is said to be the uncultivated mind. "Wisdom is not cultivated" means that one does not fully know the selflessness of phenomena as they are. Erroneous wisdom is clinging to inverted things. Therefore, one who is by nature as dull as a sheep does not listen to the good words of others, nor does he speak good words himself. Wisdom is completely lost because what has not been attained is completely lost, so it is completely lost from the wisdom that transcends the world. "These," etc., grasping at form, and showing that form is impermanent, etc., the image of the Perfection of Wisdom is the main thing. These are also those who explain the Great Vehicle in a perverted way. Therefore, the consciousness that appears as form is not an external object. Even so, some recite: "The phenomena that appear like external objects, what is imputed is called form." If the nature of grasping becomes impermanent, then at that time destruction itself, for those who are unborn, destruction is also like that, therefore seeing destruction, three dharmas will be apprehended. Those also

arising and destruction, etc. Therefore, realizing the true meaning of all dharmas as being without inherent existence is not the perfection of wisdom. Negating the impermanence of what is clung to, as stated in कौशिका (kauśika), etc. How many kinds of impermanence are there? It is taught in both the Mahayana and Hinayana. Even so, it is said there: How can an image not appear? Because the nature of form is empty. Whatever is the nature of form is without substance. Whatever is without substance, that is the perfection of wisdom. If form itself does not exist, how can there be permanence? Similarly, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are also empty of inherent existence. Whatever is the nature of consciousness is without substance, etc. Whatever thus truly appears will not appear as an image. If here destruction does not mean impermanence, then permanence itself is without substance, which implies impermanence. This reasoning, the noble Maitreya, the protector, in treatises such as the Differentiation of the Middle and Extremes, and the venerable Nagarjuna, in his own treatises, and the ancient teachers who followed his view, the meaning of emptiness that they explained, that is the non-inverted perfection of wisdom. Among them, what other Mahayana practitioners explain is the nature of an image, because the image spoken of by the Blessed One can be seen in all aspects. Even so, the proponents of appearance-with-image consciousness, temporarily, in order to deceive other schools that they themselves have conjectured, proclaim that Maitreya's view is wrong, and it appears that way. Here, on the nature of various different causes and conditions, wherever there is clinging, action, and agent that are conjectured, whatever is completely established as the nature that is devoid of the two grasps, all of that is what the king, the successor to the throne, has said. This is an image, that is, form is impermanent.

Herein, a brief exposition is given on the complete destruction of consciousness and the impermanence of consciousness. What is called form is the consciousness that appears as form. Its establishment as form in the manner of the five aggregates is the intention of those. Thus, just as the characteristic that is not different from the aggregate of formations, the aggregates of feeling and perception are established separately, so it is with all consciousnesses. For all things that appear like external objects, it is said that they have been contemplated as the aggregate of form. The destruction of form is the extreme destruction. What has it is the impermanence of form. It is not true that there is no permanence in form. For example, more than their otherness, the name of emptiness is not the ultimate truth, because how is it contemplated by what nature, as in the moment, etc., so the ultimate truth does not exist. However, what is called otherness is the nature of its own characteristics. Therefore, because there is no otherness, it is called that everything does not exist. In short, the nature of the existence of the ultimate truth, because the otherness is completely destroyed, the nature of the arising that is empty of the two completely pure otherness is emptiness, which is the perfection of wisdom, not an image. However, the nature of their cause and effect, the so-called ultimate truth does not exist, only the body consciousness that appears, what is the use of otherness? Thus, it is said that the certainty of knowing the before and after is to know the nature of cause and effect, which should be clearly stated by all speakers. It is not in the former, nor in the latter. Born from the habits of the two, the nature of holding on, this is born from this, thus holding on to the nature of the cause and effect of the difference, the holding of the term of experience does not exist. In everything, only the ability of self-awareness, because it is not appropriate to be familiar with the words of others. If this can only be known by the wisdom of others, then, although it has only this, it has only the nature of this, this is not only. With the wisdom of holding on to one, there is not even one, therefore, to what
