Having attained complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, one will not be discouraged due to the arising of Bodhicitta through teaching the Dharma. This is what is meant by 'not being discouraged.' Among these, sentient beings are the self and the person. Faith and so forth are the five faculties and the five powers, as well as the seven branches of enlightenment and the eightfold noble path. The third cause is explained by 'Furthermore,' and so on. The perception of Dharma is the perception of the aggregates and elements, and so forth. This commentary was not present in previous books, and it is said that it was added to align with the Abhisamayalankara. The fourth cause is explained by 'Furthermore,' and so on. Engaging in sexual conduct with the characteristics of women and men, and in order to abandon these, it is as before. The fifth cause is explained by 'Furthermore,' and so on. Wishing for the enjoyment of existence as a god, Indra, or a universal monarch is merely a wish. Among these, the inverted views are the root, therefore, in order to abandon the four inverted views, it is as before. Among these, impermanence and so forth are very well-known in the tradition of the Hearers, and should be explained according to the tradition of the Great Vehicle. Among these, due to the distinction of the three natures, there are three aspects of impermanence. The nature of the completely imputed is not permanent, therefore it is impermanent. Because it possesses arising and ceasing in each moment, the dependent nature is also impermanent. Previously, in the state of samsara, there was liberation with defilements and liberation without defilements, therefore the thoroughly established nature is also impermanent. Thus, it is also said: 'The meaning of non-existence is the meaning of impermanence, having the nature of arising and ceasing, the meaning of having defilements and being without defilements, the fundamental suchness in order.' The three natures are the fundamental suchness, the nature of the completely imputed is suffering because it generates manifest attachment to beings and phenomena. The nature of the completely imputed is non-existent in itself, so even if it does not cause suffering by its own nature, even so, due to manifest attachment to beings and phenomena, whoever clings to the completely imputed, it causes harm, therefore it is suffering itself.

That is how it is said. The nature of other-powered nature is the very nature of the suffering of suffering, the very suffering of change, and the very suffering of conditioning, which are called the three kinds of suffering. The nature of the perfectly established is also suffering because it is related to these three sufferings. Just as blue and so on are known in relation to the support, blue and so on themselves, in the nature of the completely imputed, whatever characteristics of a person or characteristics of a dharma are completely imputed by children, that itself is non-existent, therefore, the absence of characteristics is the selflessness here. Other-powered nature, however, is dependent arising, like an illusion, merely a delusion, having such a characteristic. Just as children completely impute with the nature of the grasped and the grasper, etc., therefore, being separated from that nature is the selflessness here. The nature of the perfectly established is only selflessness, because it is the nature of non-duality. Similarly, the nature of the completely imputed is impure because it is the cause of reversing manifest clinging. Other-powered is by its own nature. The perfectly established is because it is related to that. This is symbolic, explaining what is said in treatises such as the Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes, where it is more detailed. With "whoever" etc., the meaning of the causes previously spoken is clearly summarized, not clearly summarized etc., the meaning of the remaining causes is possessed, shown by practice, that is, falling into unclear summarization, or inferior Bodhi. The so-called three realms are samsara. With "Subhuti Bodhisattva Mahasattva, if so" etc., understanding the questions and answers of the Bodhisattva. The so-called non-retrogression, the seven causes are spoken, if emptiness etc. is also spoken to the questions of the Bodhisattva, then one should practice, one should be completely familiar, do not manifest again. For this, the method is to completely abandon the mind of all sentient beings etc., that
