Having shown that there is no. Below that, in order to show the non-dual nature of the four noble truths in another way, whatever is fully known is not, nor is it not fully known, that itself is its full knowledge, it is said. Bodhisattvas are not fully known by the mind that abides equally in the nature of all dharmas, but like the Shravakas, they do not abide equally, but are fully known by the knowledge of complete familiarity, as shown before. Therefore, this which is not so completely known is itself its complete knowledge. Similarly, it should be applied to abandonment, manifestation, and meditation as well. In this way, being skilled in the nature of non-duality, in order to show that one should be skilled in arising, the Nirvana of Maitreya Bodhisattva and others is profound, extremely profound, thus showing Nirvana. If asked how profound, like this, it is neither Nirvana nor non-Nirvana, therefore it is said to be profound and extremely profound, thus it is shown. The Nirvana of Bodhisattvas is called the completely pure transformation of the basis, and that transformation of the basis is also, like this, all the afflictions and obscurations of knowledge are the nature of complete Nirvana, and the maturation of karma is the nature of complete Nirvana, therefore it is Nirvana. Like this, unlike the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, but until Samsara exists, they benefit sentient beings, therefore it is not Nirvana. Then, Maitreya asked: Blessed One, if the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not completely abandon Samsara for the sake of others, then how does he not abandon Nirvana completely? It means, if the Bodhisattva does not constantly abandon Samsara for the sake of sentient beings until Samsara exists, then how can it be Nirvana? Then, the Blessed One said: Maitreya, because one does not abandon Samsara for the sake of others, it is not Nirvana either. Because for the sake of self

Therefore, since complete cessation is not abandoned, it is also not cessation. This means: The Blessed One, striving for the benefit of others, neither completely abandons samsara nor takes nirvana without aggregates. Therefore, it is also not cessation. Striving for one's own benefit, because the task has been accomplished, neither completely abandoning cessation nor taking samsara, then how will the statement "therefore it is cessation" be explained? Starting from the Dharmakaya, therefore it is cessation. In terms of the Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya, it is shown that it is not cessation. Blessed One, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, for the sake of others, does not completely abandon samsara, then since samsara is not completely abandoned, how will this not become a complete abandonment of cessation? And so on, it is explained in this way: If samsara is not completely abandoned for the sake of others, then this will become a complete abandonment of cessation. If cessation is not completely abandoned for one's own sake, then this will become a complete abandonment of samsara. Therefore, not completely abandoning samsara and abandoning samsara, as well as cessation and non-cessation, are contradictory. So how will this become non-contradictory? This is the question. Then, the Blessed One shows that it is not contradictory by saying, "Even to samsara, one does not conceptualize it as samsara itself," and so on. A Bodhisattva does not conceptualize all dharmas and sees only equality. Therefore, one does not conceptualize samsara as samsara, nor does one conceptualize cessation as cessation. Therefore, one does not make elaborations and abides in equality. Because one abides in equality, there is no such thing as becoming discouraged by seeing faults in anything, or becoming attached by seeing benefits in anything. This is a summary statement. Then, the noble Maitreya, still not satisfied, asked: Blessed One, then the Bodhisattva abides in the realm of non-discrimination, since samsara has not been abandoned, it has also not been taken.
