Venerable, does practicing lead to the attainment of omniscience? The Blessed One replied, 'No.' This refers to the state of having effort and conceptualization. When asked, 'Is it by not practicing?' the Blessed One did not answer and negated it, saying, 'No.' When asked, 'Is it by practicing and also not practicing?' the Blessed One replied, 'Both faults have already been explained, so it is clear.' When asked, 'Is it neither practicing nor not practicing?' the Blessed One replied, 'Because there is concern that the arguments of dualism will cause confusion, it is negated.' This shows that it is a state that cannot be spoken of in any way and is inconceivable. The Blessed One said, 'Suchness as it is' refers to the state where all phenomena are later shown to be unobtainable, such as 'The realm of self as it is,' and so on. The Blessed One said, 'Unattributable' is a synonym for 'unspeakable.' The Blessed One said, 'Subhuti, what do you think? Is it possible to perceive beings as entities?' etc., because sentient beings, hells, etc., are all imputed by conceptualization, and do not actually exist, but are conventionally established for the benefit of individual ordinary people. 'Without decrease and without increase' means that to slander what exists is to decrease, and to add to what does not exist is to increase. 'Learning in the unborn and unceasing' means that learning in the unborn is not to add, and learning in the unceasing is not to slander what exists. 'Neither practicing nor diminishing' means learning in non-action. Not making efforts such as 'I will practice, I will generate,' is learning in the unborn. Not making efforts such as 'I will diminish, I will eliminate,' is learning in the unceasing. 'Form is empty of form' means that form imputed by conceptualization is not the nature of form itself, because the nature of form is emptiness. 'Non-action is the practice of the Perfection of Wisdom of a Bodhisattva' means that because everything is unobtainable, there is no attachment to anything.

That is the practice. If not practicing is the practice of a Bodhisattva, then how should the initial Bodhisattva practice the Prajñāpāramitā? When asked, "The initial Bodhisattva" refers to starting from the initial generation of Bodhicitta, one should train in all Dharmas in a non-objectifying manner. Although for the initial practitioner, there is no ultimate practice, but therefore one should train, and training itself is practice, this is how it is taught. World Honored One, is what is objectified non-objectified? This is asking whether non-objectification is objectified. Because the nature of non-objectification is non-objectification, it cannot be said to be "objectified," therefore it is answered that what is objectified is also not non-objectified. Because the characteristic of non-objectification, the equality of all Dharmas, exists, therefore non-objectification is not non-objectification, this is its conclusion. The equality of objectification and non-objectification is non-objectification, meaning that all Dharmas that are objectified, whatever is a thing, and all Dharmas that are non-objectified, whatever is a non-thing, these two are the same. Why? Because of no self-nature. What is objectified is the imputed, so it has no self-nature. What is non-objectified is also the nature of non-things, so it has no self-nature. Therefore, both are the same in no self-nature, the equality of what is objectified and what is non-objectified, which is no self-nature, that is non-objectification, this is its conclusion. How to completely perfect from ground to ground? How to obtain all-knowingness? It means that if one does not become attached to objectification, then how to strive from higher grounds and all-knowingness? Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā is also non-objectified, etc., thus it is taught: With the nature of objectification, one cannot obtain higher grounds or all-knowingness, but the more one has the power of non-objectification, the more one can jump from one ground to another, and

One will attain all-knowing wisdom, which shows that Prajnaparamita, Bodhi, and Bodhisattvas are all due to the nature of non-objectification. How should one differentiate all dharmas that are separate from their own nature? If all dharmas are separate from their own nature, then how should one differentiate "This is form," "This is feeling," and so on? Subhuti, how can a Bodhisattva not differentiate dharmas in such a way that form becomes an object of attachment? Thus it is shown: Bodhisattvas do not cling to dharmas such as form, and no matter how they practice, they do not cling. Therefore, they deeply engage in the meaning of non-objectification. World-Honored One, if even form is not clung to, it is requested: If one deeply engages in the meaning of non-objectification, then how will the practices of perfecting the Paramitas, entering without fault, purifying the Buddha-fields, maturing sentient beings, realizing enlightenment, turning the wheel of Dharma, the deeds of the Buddha, and liberating sentient beings, etc., which all have objects of focus, be accomplished? Subhuti, Bodhisattvas do not practice Prajnaparamita for the sake of form, thus it is shown: Bodhisattvas do not practice with dharmas such as form, but rather they practice because all dharmas are without objectification. The objectification mentioned earlier is a conventional term, but ultimately it is not so. The meaning of uncreated and immutable has already been explained. How will these three vehicles be distinguished? If all dharmas are uncreated and immutable, then there will be no distinction between the three vehicles, which is a reproachful statement. Subhuti, there is no differentiation to be clung to in the dharmas that are uncreated and immutable, which means differentiating the imputed vehicles.
