Knowing exactly as it is the order of faculties and diligence of other sentient beings and other individuals, that is, this is a dull faculty, this is a medium faculty, this is a sharp faculty, this is no faculty, this is an inferior faculty, this is a superior faculty. With this discriminating faculty, desire arises, with this anger arises, with this delusion arises, with this pride arises, with this views arise, with this small afflictions arise, with this medium afflictions arise, with this great afflictions arise, with this one will become fortunate, with this one will become unfortunate, with this one will become fully ripened, with this one will temporarily become fully ripened, with this one will become a small fault, with this one will temporarily become a small fault, with this one will become virtues and so on, with this are desires and so on, with this are those belonging to form and so on, with this are those belonging to the formless and so on, with this is weariness, with this is detachment from desire, with this is tranquility, with this is insight, with this is a stream-enterer, with this, if one obtains as desired, one is a seven-times-born, with this is a one-interval, with this one is born from one lineage to another, such as these, and with this one acts with faith.
