It means that the Blessed One, considering that all dharmas are empty of their own nature, said that the five aggregates have such categories as number, measurable, and immeasurable. The question is, Blessed One, by what kind of category can form also become countless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable? And even consciousness is countless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable? This is because Subhuti asked the question in order to explain in detail the meaning of numberless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable because the five aggregates, such as form, are empty of their own nature. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, form is also emptiness, so it is countless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable. And even consciousness is emptiness, so it is countless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable. This is to show that the reason why the five aggregates, such as form, are countless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable is that all five aggregates are empty of their own nature, so they are countless, immeasurable, and unmeasurable. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, is only form empty? And even is only consciousness empty? Isn't it that all dharmas are empty? This is the question raised by Subhuti in order to elicit the statement that all dharmas are empty. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Didn't I say that all dharmas are empty? It means that just as the five aggregates are empty, all dharmas are also empty, that's what I said. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, the Thus Come One said that all dharmas are empty, and even Blessed One, therefore, in these dharmas, from the ultimate truth, it is impossible to distinguish between words and meanings. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, yes, yes, in these dharmas, there is no distinction between meaning and words. This is to make all the retinue believe what Subhuti said, so the Blessed One said that this is true. Subhuti, the so-called inexhaustible, etc., this is unspeakable.

From "even the Tathagata speaks" to "says," although the various names of emptiness, such as inexhaustible and immeasurable, are inexpressible in the ultimate truth, in order to lead and guide sentient beings with the great compassion of the Tathagata, he abides in the relative truth and speaks of inexhaustible, immeasurable, empty, signless, wishless, unconditioned, unborn, desireless, and unceasing, which is nirvana. From "showing inexhaustible" to "the Tathagata's teachings are said to be proven," the meaning mentioned above is explained in detail, that is, in order to lead sentient beings into the realm of ultimate truth, the Tathagata conventionally imputes and speaks of names such as inexhaustible. Petition! World Honored One! The Tathagata has shown the Dharma-nature of all dharmas, and that Dharma-nature is also inexpressible, which is very wonderful! This is Subhuti's praise of the World Honored One, because in reality all dharmas are empty of self-nature, without substance, but in order to skillfully guide sentient beings in the relative truth, he imputes names and characteristics to teach. The meaning spoken by the World Honored One, as I understand it, World Honored One! All dharmas are inexpressible! This is a brief explanation of the meaning mentioned above, that is, in the ultimate truth, all dharmas are empty of self-nature, so they cannot be expressed in words. The World Honored One said: Subhuti! Yes, it is so. Yes, it is so. Subhuti! All dharmas are inexpressible! This is because the World Honored One said this in order to make the retinue believe in the meaning requested by Subhuti. Subhuti! Whatever inexpressible all dharmas are, that is emptiness, and there is nothing to say in emptiness! This means that in the ultimate truth, all dharmas are empty of self-nature, so they cannot be expressed in words. Emptiness is

The term "unspeakable" is used to emphasize and reveal the very meaning of emptiness as being beyond expression. "Venerable Lord, is there no increase or decrease in the unspeakable meaning?" This is Subhuti's question to clarify that, in ultimate truth, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, and there is no increase or decrease. The Lord replied, "Subhuti, it is not so. Subhuti, in the unspeakable meaning, there is no increase or decrease." The term "unspeakable" refers to emptiness. In emptiness, there is no increase due to phenomena belonging to the side of purification, nor is there any decrease due to phenomena belonging to the side of affliction. This is a general statement. "Venerable Lord, if there is no increase or decrease in the unspeakable meaning, then, Venerable Lord, does that mean the perfection of generosity also has no increase or decrease?" ... "Venerable Lord, does that mean the unique qualities of the Buddhas also have no increase or decrease?" This is Subhuti's question, assuming that if all phenomena are empty of inherent existence and unspeakable, and there is no increase or decrease, then all phenomena of purification, such as the six perfections, also have no increase or decrease. "Venerable Lord, if that is the case, does that mean there is no perfection of generosity?" ... "Venerable Lord, if that is the case, does that mean there are no unique qualities of the Buddhas?" This is Subhuti's question, assuming that if all phenomena are empty of inherent existence and unspeakable, and there is no increase or decrease, then all phenomena of purification, such as the six perfections, also do not exist. If these phenomena do not exist, then all-knowingness also does not exist. If all-knowingness does not exist, then who will fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? This is because if that is the case,
