Therefore, since there are no things in the ultimate sense, it has been shown that there is no thought, measurement, or equality. Subhuti, the nature of all dharmas, the mind does not perceive it. It is said that even the dharmas arising from the mind are not perceived. Thus, as explained above, all dharmas such as form are without substance. If they do not become the objects of the mind's activity, such as thought and measurement, then what is the nature of all those dharmas, emptiness? It becomes the object of thought and measurement. Some may have the thought that the mind and mental factors are objects that can be perceived. To eliminate such thoughts, the nature of all dharmas is merely expressed in conventional terms. However, in the ultimate sense, it is not an object perceived by the mind and mental factors. This is what is being shown. Subhuti, form is inconceivable, immeasurable, and unfathomable. Non-equality and equality are also not perceived. From this, up to "Subhuti, all-knowingness is inconceivable, immeasurable, and unfathomable. Non-equality and equality are also not perceived," it is said that all dharmas such as form are inconceivable, immeasurable, and unfathomable. When it is said that they are non-equality and equality, some may have the thought that there is something called non-equality and equality. To eliminate such thoughts, the statement of non-equality and equality is merely a conventional expression. In the ultimate sense, it is also not perceived. This is what is being shown. Question: "Bhagavan, why is form inconceivable, immeasurable, and unfathomable? Why are non-equality and equality not perceived?" From this, up to "Why is all-knowingness inconceivable, immeasurable, and unfathomable? Why are non-equality and equality not perceived?" Subhuti asks in order to explain in detail the meaning of the inconceivability, immeasurability, and unfathomability of all dharmas such as form, and the non-perception of non-equality and equality, and to enable the retinue to understand it firmly. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti.

Furthermore, from "Regarding form, neither thought, nor measurement, nor dimension, nor equality, nor inequality are observed," up to "Subhuti, regarding the All-Knowingness itself, neither thought, nor measurement, nor dimension, nor equality, nor inequality are observed," this indicates that if there were an entity in all phenomena such as form, then the mind could think and measure it, or it could be sought with a dimension and be equal, but since there is no entity in reality, such is not observed. Question: Blessed One, for what reason is form not observed in terms of thought, measurement, dimension, equality, and inequality? Up to: For what reason is the All-Knowingness itself not observed in terms of thought, measurement, dimension, equality, and inequality? This is because Subhuti asked in order to raise the topic of explaining in detail the meaning of thought, measurement, dimension, equality, and inequality for all phenomena such as form. The Blessed One replied: Subhuti, the essence of form is inconceivable, immeasurable, unquantifiable, and unequal. Therefore, form is not observed in terms of thought, measurement, dimension, equality, and inequality. Up to: Therefore, the All-Knowingness itself is not observed in terms of thought, measurement, dimension, equality, and inequality. This indicates that all phenomena such as form are empty of inherent existence in reality, and since there is no entity, they are inconceivable, immeasurable, and unquantifiable. Therefore, thought, measurement, dimension, equality, and inequality are not observed. Subhuti, what do you think? Is there a form that can be pointed out in relation to form that is inconceivable, immeasurable, unquantifiable, unequal, and equal? Up to: Is there an All-Knowingness that can be pointed out in relation to the All-Knowingness itself that is inconceivable, immeasurable, unquantifiable, unequal, and equal? This is because the Blessed One spoke to Subhuti in order to clearly explain the meaning of what was said above, that all phenomena are inconceivable, immeasurable.
