It is called inconceivable, and similarly, immeasurable, unfathomable, unequal, and equal should also be added. Subhuti, this called inconceivable, from the word inconceivable is an inconceivable term, to the term unequal and equal to the term unequal. Thus, after all dharmas have completely transcended thought and so on, what can be said about the words such as inconceivable? In order to dispel the doubts of some bodhisattvas in the assembly, saying inconceivable and so on is only a conventional term in the world, not the ultimate truth. Subhuti, the name inconceivable is because the sky is inconceivable. From because the sky is inconceivable to because the sky is unequal and unequal. This is an example of showing the establishment of words from non-existent things. For example, for the sky, saying the name inconceivable and so on is to say that non-existent things are inconceivable and so on. Subhuti, the Tathagata's Tathagata's dharmas are inconceivable, immeasurable, unfathomable, unequal, and equal. These are what the world, including gods, humans, and asuras, cannot think or measure. Thus, the Buddhas are immeasurable, and the Buddhas' dharmas are immeasurable. This is to summarize and show the meaning of all dharmas being inconceivable, immeasurable, unfathomable, unequal, and equal as mentioned above. In the ultimate truth, all dharmas are empty in nature, so there is no object to be thought or measured, and there is no consciousness or consciousness-born to think or measure, so no one can think about it. Thus, the Buddhas are immeasurable, which is in the way described above, the Buddha himself, the Tathagata himself, the self-born himself, the Tathagata himself, and the Tathagata's qualities of dharmas are inconceivable, immeasurable, un-

This is the teaching on immeasurability. The Buddhas' teachings are immeasurable, meaning that the teachings realized and spoken by the Thus-Gone One are inconceivable, immeasurable, and unquantifiable. Thus, the Blessed One, through the exposition of chapters such as "The Inconceivable Thus-Gone One," "The Immeasurable," "The Unquantifiable," and "The Unequal and Equal," demonstrates the profound meaning of expounding the inconceivable Dharma. Five hundred monks, without taking full ordination, had their minds completely liberated from the outflows. Two hundred monks, without taking full ordination, had their minds completely liberated from the outflows, meaning that so many monks and nuns, without taking another existence, had their minds liberated from the afflictions, attaining the fruit of non-returner and the fruit of Arhat. Sixty thousand male lay followers and thirty thousand female lay followers, for those dharmas, a Dharma eye arose, stainless and immaculate, meaning that laymen and laywomen are of three types: those who observe the eight precepts, those who observe the five precepts, and those who generate the mind of enlightenment and take refuge in the Three Jewels. They are free from the dust of bad views, including the view of the aggregates, and free from the defilements, including desire and anger, and have a completely pure view of the holy Dharma, including the Four Noble Truths. Twenty thousand Bodhisattvas obtained forbearance of non-arising dharmas, meaning that so many Bodhisattvas, abiding in the stage of faith and conduct, obtained forbearance of non-arising dharmas, attaining the eighth Bodhisattva ground. The Blessed One prophesied that they would become Buddhas in this very Fortunate Aeon, meaning that those Bodhisattvas who have obtained forbearance of non-arising dharmas and abide on the eighth ground will be prophesied to become Buddhas in this very Fortunate Aeon.
