Because there is no conceptualization of not being a basis. The so-called "neither true nor false" means that when practicing the union of shamatha and vipassana, there is no conceptualization of "this is true practice" or "this is not true practice." The so-called "neither corresponding nor non-corresponding" means that when practicing the union of shamatha and vipassana and applying the mind, there is no conceptualization of "this application of mind is reasonable" or "this application of mind is unreasonable." The so-called "neither mixed nor unmixed" means that when gradually abandoning the subtle obscurations of afflictive and cognitive obscurations, there is no conceptualization of being mixed or unmixed with the faults of afflictive and cognitive obscurations. The so-called "neither cause nor without cause" means that when thoroughly realizing Suchness, although entering the nature of ultimate reality with the first and other types of reasoning, there is no arising of conceptualization that distinguishes or does not distinguish the nature of cause and condition. The so-called "neither dharma nor non-dharma" means that when directly realizing the dharmata of dharma, there is no conceptualization of objects that are dharma and non-dharma. The so-called "neither Suchness nor non-Suchness" means that when meditating on Suchness, there is no conceptualization of "this is Suchness" or "this is not Suchness." The so-called "neither the extreme of truth nor the non-extreme of truth" means that at the time of Nirvana, there is no conceptualization of "this is the extreme of the meaning of truth" or "this is not the extreme of the meaning of truth." "Sons or daughters of good family, whoever extensively speaks and teaches this Prajnaparamita to others," etc., refers to the sequence mentioned above. The profound meaning of Prajnaparamita is free from the two extremes. Rather than merely holding and retaining it oneself, extensively explaining and teaching it to others summarizes the benefits of increasing merit.

This is the explanation. Kausika! Furthermore, whichever son or daughter of good family, who themselves uphold and fully comprehend the Prajnaparamita, from "themselves uphold the Prajnaparamita and fully comprehend it" to "the merit of that son or daughter of good family greatly increases," that is, they themselves diligently uphold and remember the Prajnaparamita, and extensively explain the non-duality meaning to others, then it shows the benefit of their merit increasing even more than before. Indra requested: World Honored One, should a son or daughter of good family explain the Prajnaparamita in such a meaningful and literal way? In order to initiate other beginnings of explaining the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita extensively to others, which is of greater merit, it is asked: Should the meaning of the Prajnaparamita be definitely explained to others in such a way? The World Honored One replied: Kausika! A son or daughter of good family should explain the Prajnaparamita in such a meaningful and literal way. Kausika! The son or daughter of good family who explains it in this way will possess immeasurable and countless accumulations of merit. That is to say, if the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita is extensively explained to others in this way, then they will possess immeasurable and countless merit, so it must be definitely explained. Among them, being meaningful means possessing the profound meaning of being free from the two extremes. Being literal means possessing clear words and phrases. Kausika! If a son or daughter of good family, from the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha of the east, to attaining Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, that is, compared to offering and honoring the Tathagatas of the ten directions with various offerings until the end of their lives, it is better to extensively explain this Prajnaparamita to others in a meaningful and clear way, the merit is greater. All the Buddhas and World Honored Ones of the three times have attained Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi by studying this Prajnaparamita.

This is explained with the reasoning for becoming a Buddha. Kauśika, furthermore, whichever son or daughter of good family, from "practicing the perfection of generosity with an attitude of fixation for immeasurable, countless eons" until "truly teaches, their merit will greatly increase," it is shown that even more than practicing the six perfections with characteristics for immeasurable, countless eons, explaining this Perfection of Wisdom, which is complete in meaning and words, to others extensively with a non-fixated attitude and the three spheres completely pure, is more meritorious. From "fixation is this" until "it becomes wisdom itself, not the Perfection of Wisdom," it is shown that when practicing the six perfections such as generosity, practicing with the three spheres not completely pure is itself with fixation. Kauśika, that son or daughter of good family, likewise, practicing with such fixation, will not perfect the perfection of generosity, and will not perfect the perfection of wisdom. This shows the fault of not perfecting the six perfections if practicing the six perfections with fixation. Indra asked: Blessed One, how should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practice so that the perfection of generosity will be perfected, and the perfection of wisdom will be perfected? This shows the nature of practicing the six perfections with a non-fixated attitude and the three spheres completely pure. Kauśika, a son or daughter of good family should teach this Perfection of Wisdom that is endowed with meaning and letters, which is incomprehensible, and should teach the perfection of generosity that is endowed with meaning and letters, which is incomprehensible. This explains the meaning of completely teaching the six perfections with a non-fixated attitude and the three spheres completely pure, and concludes with a summary.
