Therefore, in order to learn the Dharmas spoken by the Buddhas, one is inseparable from the Prajñāpāramitā. Ultimately, those Buddhadharmas and the Bodhisattvas who learn them are also of one taste in Suchness, without difference, and should be known as the Tathāgata who is the nature of the Dharmakāya. O sons of the gods, when I, the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, was making a prediction of the Buddha Dīpaṃkara, and was dwelling in the center of the market in the city of Rājagṛha, which had lotuses, I was not separated from the perfection of generosity, and so forth. This is to say that Bodhisattvas who are newly learning the Buddhadharma and are inseparable from the Prajñāpāramitā will undoubtedly become Buddhas. The Tathāgata Dīpaṃkara, seeing that the Buddha Śākyamuni was not separated from the Buddhadharmas such as the perfection of generosity when he was formerly a Brahmin boy, gave an example of a prophecy. When I was formerly a Brahmin boy, I heard the Buddhadharmas such as the perfection of generosity, and I was not separated from them through the gates of thinking and meditating. The Tathāgata Dīpaṃkara saw this and said to me: "Boy, in countless kalpas in the future, a Tathāgata named Śākyamuni will appear." Combining this with the prophecy, a Bodhisattva who is inseparable from this Prajñāpāramitā will undoubtedly become a Tathāgata, and therefore should be understood as holding the principle of the Tathāgata. The so-called "Good Kalpa" refers to this Good Kalpa at the time when the Buddha Śākyamuni attained perfect enlightenment. The so-called "in this world realm" refers to this Sahā world realm. The so-called "Śākyamuni" refers to one who is born from the Śākya clan and is able to endure unreasonable things. The so-called "Tathāgata" refers to those who, in the past, the Buddhas have truly known the Suchness of the nature of all Dharmas, attained unsurpassed Bodhi, and gone accordingly.

Therefore, it is called Tathagata. It is called Arhat because it destroys the enemies of afflictions. It is called Samyaksambuddha because it awakens from the sleep of ignorance, has vast wisdom, and comprehends all dharmas. It is called Vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna, where Vidyā refers to the superior wisdom that truly understands all dharmas as they are. Caraṇa refers to the superior discipline of morality and the superior mind with the nature of samadhi. Because one sees all dharmas as they truly are with the eye of wisdom, and reaches unsurpassed bodhi with the conduct of morality and samadhi, it is called Vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna. It is called Sugata because it peacefully enters the path to attain unsurpassed bodhi and departs in a non-retrogressive manner, hence it is called Sugata. It is called Lokavidu because it observes sentient beings in the world, knows those who have the potential and those who do not, and knows whether the time for taming has come, thus knowing that the time to benefit sentient beings has arrived. It is called Anuttara, Puruṣadamyasārathi because for sentient beings who are heavily afflicted with desire, heavily afflicted with hatred, and heavily afflicted with ignorance, who are difficult to tame like wild horses, one tames them with good and skillful methods, according to their respective ways, and places them in the ultimate state of peaceful nirvana, being the supreme guide and establisher. It is called Śāstā Devamanuṣyāṇām because it teaches the correct Dharma to gods and humans, and is revered by gods and humans as a guide or teacher. It is called Bhagavan because it has conquered the four maras and possesses these six qualities: beauty, fame, power, wealth, wisdom, and diligence, surpassing and exceeding all the qualities of worldly teachers, therefore it is called Bhagavan. Then, those sons of the gods said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the Prajñāpāramitā of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas is thus the principle of not taking and not abandoning form...

From "earth" onwards, up to "It is wonderful that Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas uphold all aspects of omniscience in harmony, without taking or abandoning!", it is said that in this way, not being separated from the Prajnaparamita, the sons of the gods, having heard the prophecy of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, praised the Prajnaparamita, saying: "If one understands the meaning of this Prajnaparamita, one will also truly realize that all phenomena such as form are without taking or abandoning. And in the conventional sense, one will be able to uphold and attain all aspects of omniscience. It is wonderful!" Then, "The Blessed One, with the fourfold assembly of monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen," and so on, indicates that the benefits of listening to and meditating on this Prajnaparamita, etc., cannot be obstructed by demons, etc. Among them, 'holding' means listening from others and holding without forgetting the meaning and words. 'Reciting' means writing in a book and offering and reciting it. 'Mastering' means understanding the meaning with the wisdom of thought. 'Meditating' means repeatedly familiarizing oneself with the wisdom of meditation. 'Explaining extensively to others' means explaining the meaning and words in detail in order to prevent the holy Dharma from declining and to remain for a long time, and to greatly increase it. 'Properly attending to the mind' means attending to the mind in accordance with the noble path, without mixing with unfavorable and evil thoughts. 'Not being separated from the mind of all aspects of omniscience' means that the fruits of listening and thinking in this way are not dedicated to worldly enjoyment and inferior vehicles, but are completely dedicated to unsurpassed enlightenment. Why is that? Because, like this, sons and daughters of good family, form, etc., will be deeply blessed by emptiness, etc., which is to say that there is a reason why demons will not find an opportunity. Both seeking and creating opportunities arise from the five aggregates of form, etc.
