Because there is no obstruction. Complete knowledge is because it is the basis for the perfection of wisdom arising from hearing. Complete understanding is because it is the basis for the perfection of wisdom arising from thinking. Complete clarity is because it arises from the teacher not concealing the examples of the Dharma. Causing joy is because those who have already obtained their own benefit are joyful. Causing great joy is because those who have not yet obtained their own benefit have hope. Making everything known is because it truly reveals the inconceivable Dharma. Making it completely understood is because it truly reveals the conceivable Dharma. Reason is because it does not contradict valid cognition. Connection is because it teaches how to subdue according to reason. There is no fault of repetition because it is not meaningless. The power of the lion's roar is because it makes all gatherings of non-Buddhists afraid. The elephant's roar is because the sound is loud. The tone of the dragon's roar is because it is deep. The voice of the dragon king is because it is worthy of being heard. The song of the Gandharva is because it is pleasant. The call of the Kalaviṅka bird is because it has the nature of changing quickly. The voice of Brahma is because it is heard far away. Hearing the call of the Shangshang bird is because it is an auspicious sign of obtaining all accomplishments. Being as pleasant as the voice of the lord of the gods is because it is not something to be opposed. The sound of the drum is because it goes first to defeat all opposing demons. Not being arrogant is because one will not become arrogant from praise. Not being humble is because one will not be discouraged by slander. Following all sounds is because one follows all perfect accomplishments and all the characteristics of sounds. There is no error in words because one does not speak while forgetting.

It is for the sake of delight. It is pervasive because it follows the mastery of all fields of knowledge. Bodhi is for the sake of accomplishing all the benefits of sentient beings. Constant is for the sake of being uninterrupted. Abundant is for the sake of being abundant in various ways. Perfecting all sounds is because many kinds of sound awareness arise from one sound. Satisfying all the senses is because many meanings can be understood with one word. Not despised is for the sake of doing as promised. Unchanging is for the sake of not changing in the same way in the future. Unexamined is for the sake of not speaking rashly. Famous throughout the assembly is because it is equally famous among close and distant assemblies. Possessing all kinds of excellence is because it possesses the excellence of all worldly and transcendental meanings and metaphorical teachings. Subhuti, if the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha's Dharma wheel is something that exists, and so on, this shows that the Tathagata's turning of the Dharma wheel is realized as not truly existing. If the turning of the Dharma wheel is something that exists, then ascetics, Brahmins, gods, demons, Brahma, and so on, all those who view all dharmas as existing, could also turn the Dharma wheel. Since those who view things as existing cannot turn the Dharma wheel, the Tathagata has realized that the turning of the Dharma wheel is not truly existing, and in the conventional truth, in an illusory way, he has turned the Dharma wheel that no one else can turn. Subhuti, if the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, for whose sake the Dharma wheel is turned, those sentient beings are something that exists, and so on, this shows that for which sentient being the Dharma wheel is to be turned, realizing that those sentient beings are not truly existing, therefore the Great Vehicle will overwhelm the world, including gods, humans, and asuras. These are to say that those sentient beings are real
