When one is patient with the harm that has been done and does not cause further harm, this itself is giving fearlessness to sentient beings. Therefore, when one accomplishes the perfection of patience, one also accomplishes the perfection of generosity. Similarly, when one accomplishes the perfection of patience, one does not think of attaining the level of a Hearer or Solitary Realizer, but rather intends to attain omniscience itself, and this unwavering intention is the perfection of discipline. Similarly, when one accomplishes the perfection of patience, one does not truly perceive the one who practices patience, the object of patience, and the field of patience, and one is not afraid of the profound meaning of contemplating omniscience itself, this is the perfection of patience. Similarly, when one accomplishes the perfection of patience, one does not diminish diligence, one is not distracted by the contemplation of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, but one's mind is single-pointed in contemplating omniscience itself, and one abides closely with the perception that all phenomena are like illusions, and one does not become arrogant about this patience, these are the perfections of diligence, concentration, and wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, while practicing the perfection of diligence, from "Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, while practicing the perfection of diligence," to "Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the perfection of diligence in this way completely grasps all six perfections, therefore it is called donning great armor," what is explained is the donning of the armor that perfects the six perfections when accomplishing the perfection of diligence. There are also three types of diligence: armor diligence, diligence in engaging in virtue, and diligence in benefiting sentient beings. Armor diligence is the initial mind of wanting to accomplish the complete benefit of oneself and others.

increasing and sharing. The diligence in engaging in virtue is listening to the sacred Dharma, contemplating, meditating, and engaging in the construction of stupas, and so on. The diligence in benefiting sentient beings is to benefit sentient beings through the four objects of collection, such as generosity. Thus, when initiating diligence, completely giving and doing the work of sentient beings is the perfection of generosity, which is practiced in the perfection of diligence. Thus, when initiating diligence, it is not with the intention of a Hearer or a Solitary Buddha, but without abandoning the intention of possessing all-knowingness, and because the intention to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is unwavering, the perfection of discipline is complete, as mentioned before. Thus, when initiating diligence, enduring and delighting in the non-objectification of the initiation of diligence and the dharmas to be practiced in diligence, and relying on it without fear or dread, is the perfection of patience. Similarly, when initiating diligence, one does not neglect to initiate diligence for the benefit of all sentient beings, nor is one overly diligent, which is the perfection of diligence. Similarly, when initiating diligence, one's mind is not distracted by the intention of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and one's mind is focused on all-knowingness, which is the perfection of meditation. Similarly, when initiating diligence, one abides in the perception of all dharmas as illusory through wisdom, and one does not become conceited with that diligence, nor does one cling to that diligence, and that root of virtue is also shared with all sentient beings, and is completely dedicated to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, which is the perfection of wisdom.

When a great Bodhisattva practices the perfection of meditation in this way, he completely grasps all six perfections. Therefore, up to "put on the great armor," it shows that when perfecting the perfection of meditation, one puts on the armor that perfects the six perfections. There are also three types of meditation: non-conceptual and mind-calming, meditation that cultivates antidotes to afflictions through extreme calmness, meditation that accomplishes qualities, and meditation that accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings. Among them, non-conceptual and mind-calming, and meditation that cultivates antidotes to afflictions through extreme calmness, refer to abiding in non-conceptual samadhi, pacifying the minds that are distracted by afflictions such as desire, and cultivating antidotes to afflictions such as the contemplation of impurity, loving-kindness, and dependent origination. Meditation that accomplishes qualities refers to cultivating meditation that places the mind single-pointedly in samadhi, thereby obtaining special qualities such as clairvoyance. Meditation that accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings refers to satisfying the wishes of sentient beings by the power of meditation, causing various treasures such as jewels to fall from the sky like rain. When practicing meditation in this way, giving through meditation that accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings, fulfilling the wishes of sentient beings, is perfecting the perfection of generosity when perfecting the perfection of meditation. Similarly, when cultivating meditation, not desiring to attain the level of a Hearer or Solitary Realizer, but vowing to attain omniscience, and not falling away from this vow, is perfecting the perfection of discipline, as mentioned before. Similarly, when practicing meditation, not fearing profound Dharma, not caring about harm caused by others, and enduring all suffering, is perfecting the perfection of patience when cultivating the perfection of meditation. Similarly, in think
