From 'earth' onwards, it is shown up to 'one does not truly see that consciousness is of the nature of being completely defiled or of the nature of being completely purified.' The nature of the aggregates of phenomena such as form is unobtainable. From 'one does not truly see that form pervades together with feeling' onwards, it is shown up to 'one does not truly see that consciousness pervades together with formations' and so forth. Why is that? Because, like this, no phenomenon pervades together with any phenomenon, and so forth, the reason for the unobtainability of the nature of aggregates is shown. Sharadvatiputra, whatever is the emptiness of form is not form, like this, whatever is the emptiness of form is also not obstructive, from 'whatever is the emptiness of consciousness is not consciousness, like this, whatever is the emptiness of consciousness is not consciousness' onwards, the unobtainability of its own characteristic is shown. Why is that? Sharadvatiputra, form is not other, and emptiness is not other, emptiness is also not other, from 'whatever does not arise, does not cease, does not become completely defiled, does not become completely purified, does not decrease, does not increase' onwards, the reason for the unobtainability of its own characteristic is shown. The past is not, the future is not, and what is presently occurring is not, for that there is no form, there is no feeling, from 'for that there is no buddha, there is no enlightenment' onwards, the unobtainability of all phenomena is shown. Sharadvatiputra, a bodhisattva mahasattva who acts like that is diligent in the prajnaparamita, that is to say, it is shown that acting like that is included in the nature of diligence in the prajnaparamita. Although acting in the prajnaparamita like that, one does not truly see that one is diligent in form or not diligent in form, from there onwards, Sharadvatiputra, in that way.
