For those who, from contemplating the aspect of impermanence to contemplating the aspect of solitude, when contemplating the profound Dharma, are not afraid of emptiness, and who are patient with the profound Dharma, and who have faith and devotion to the profound Dharma, are skilled in the means of perfecting the perfection of wisdom. The so-called solitude refers to being free from extremes such as existence and non-existence, the object of grasping and the grasper. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, with the thought endowed with all-knowingness, he thoroughly contemplates the statement "Form is impermanent" in a way that he does not focus on it. Thus, they do not abandon the thought endowed with all-knowingness, and do not abandon diligence. This is the Perfection of Diligence of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Because of this, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not fear, does not panic, and does not become afraid. Up to this point, it is shown to be skilled in the means of perfecting the Perfection of Diligence. Not abandoning individual contemplation of the five aggregates and other phenomena in a way that does not focus on them, and not abandoning the thought of all-knowingness itself, is shown to be skilled in the means of perfecting the Perfection of Diligence. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, whenever with the thought endowed with all-knowingness, he contemplates the statement "Form is impermanent" in a way that he does not focus on it, and does not distinguish the thought associated with the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and other objects that are not non-virtuous and become obstacles to enlightenment, from...

It should be established in one place. This is also for the sake of attaining omniscience in the conventional sense, starting from cultivation. Other mental activities, such as the mental activities of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, are object-oriented and narrow. Not being distracted by other non-virtuous dharmas that would obscure and hinder the attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and not opening up opportunities for them, this is skillful in the means to perfect the perfection of meditative concentration. Thus it is taught. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he thoroughly contemplates in this way with a mind endowed with all aspects of omniscience: "The emptiness of form is not that form is empty, but form itself is emptiness. Emptiness is also form." From this point on, Subhuti, this is the skillful means by which a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses this skillful means will not be afraid, terrified, or frightened upon hearing this teaching. Up to this point, it is the teaching of being skilled in the means to perfect the Perfection of Wisdom. "The emptiness of form is not that form is empty" means that by the nature of form, with emptiness as the completely established nature as the cause, it is not that the nature of form, which is imputed, becomes empty, but rather that form itself is empty by nature. Therefore, it is taught that form itself is also emptiness. "Emptiness is also form" is said to mean that form itself is empty by nature, so form and emptiness are not different. Just as with form, so too with feeling, and so on up to the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, all dharmas of the world and beyond the world should be applied in the same way. Thus, in the ultimate truth, realizing that all dharmas are of one taste in emptiness, and possessing the mental activity that enables the attainment of all aspects of omniscience in the conventional sense, that is skillful in the means to perfect the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus it is taught.

Oh. Subhuti asked: "World Honored One, which is the virtuous friend who, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who is completely taken care of by a virtuous friend hears this exposition of the Perfection of Wisdom, will not be unafraid, not fearful, not terrified?" From here, Subhuti, it should be known that this is the virtuous friend of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who is completely taken care of by that virtuous friend, when hearing this Perfection of Wisdom, will not be unafraid, not fearful, not terrified. Up to here, the skillful means of relying on a virtuous friend is explained. That virtuous friend, regarding the aggregates, sense bases, elements, the six contacts, the six feelings arising from contact, dependent origination, the perfections, the emptinesses, the mindfulnesses, the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, the noble paths, the noble truths, the concentrations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the liberations, the gradual abiding absorptions, the doors of liberation, the superknowledges, the samadhis, the doors of dharani, the powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the separate correct knowledges, great compassion, the unshared qualities of the Buddha, the omniscience, and even the worldly and transworldly dharmas between unsurpassed enlightenment, are impermanent, are suffering, are selfless, are peaceful, are emptiness, are signless, are wishless, are unconditioned, are of a solitary nature. Thus, the Dharma is taught in conventional truth, and the Dharma is taught in the manner that all of them are unobtainable in ultimate truth. Thus, the root of virtue of teaching and listening to the Dharma is not allowed to be dedicated in conventional truth for the purpose of attaining the stages of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but for the sake of
