The twelve sources, earth, water, fire, wind, space, the realms of consciousness, and the twelve links of dependent origination. These are the dharmas that are the cause of samsara. Also, the six perfections, the four mindfulnesses, the four right abandonments, the four legs of magical power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the four noble truths, the four dhyanas, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine sequential abidings, the three doors of liberation, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. Also, letters, superknowledges, the doors of samadhi, the doors of dharani, and pure dharmas should also be applied in the same way. World Honored One, therefore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not abide in all the doors of dharani. This is because the dharmas that are the cause of samsara, such as form, and the pure dharmas, their nature is emptiness, therefore one should not abide in them, this is what is taught. Among them, not abiding in letters means that one should not abide by viewing the syllables of letters such as the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) as real. Not abiding in the manifestation of letters means that one should not rely on the syllables of letters such as A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), because from this the wisdom of dharani that realizes the meaning of non-arising will arise, this is called the manifestation of letters, and one should not abide in this either, this is what is taught. Because the wisdom of dharani is unborn from the very beginning. A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is called the door of all dharmas, it manifests from such an expression. The syllables of letters are expressed as words, and this is also the Bodhisattva

Some with very sharp faculties, if they meditate relying on the single meaning of unbornness, it will become the cause for attaining perfect enlightenment. Those with intermediate faculties, relying on two letters, becoming accustomed to two verbal expressions, will become the cause for attaining perfect enlightenment. Those with dull faculties, relying on many verbal expressions, through habituation, will become the cause for perfect enlightenment. Therefore, it is said that one should not abide in a single expression, should not abide in a dual expression, should not abide in different expressions. Through the gate of verbal expressions of one letter, two letters, and many letters, the wisdom of form arises and becomes the cause for perfect enlightenment, one should not abide even in that, this is what is being taught, the meaning of not abiding is as before. Thus, having shown that one should not abide in the Dharma, now, in order to show that one should not abide in the nature of Dharma, the Bhagavan further said, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, one should not abide in saying "form is impermanent," and so on. Not abiding in the nature of Dharma, that is, from "form is impermanent," and so on, up to "Bhagavan, therefore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, one should not abide in the extreme of truth." Among them, the so-called "form is impermanent," the impermanence of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is the characteristic of arising and ceasing, which is the self-nature of complete imputation. The impermanence of the Bodhisattvas is based on the characteristic of non-existence, it is the meaning of non-existence, thus it is explained. For example, what always exists is called permanent. Conversely, what never exists, and does not exist at any time, is called the impermanence of the Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the characteristic of non-existence is the very impermanence of the ultimate truth. The so-called "the impermanence of form is empty of the impermanence of form," the ultimate impermanence of the Bodhisattvas,
