From "there was nothing that happened like that," to "What is that which is unconditioned? It is that which has no birth, no abiding, no destruction," this is to explain the characteristics of the unconditioned. The unconditioned is beyond the three times, meaning there is no birth, cessation, or abiding. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, nor have I truly seen the increase or decrease of the Blessed One. This is to show that for the Blessed One Shakyamuni himself, he is free from the two extremes of clinging to the existence or non-existence of things, and the assertion of slander. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, nor have I truly seen the increase or decrease of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, together with the Sangha of Hearers and Bodhisattvas, in the world-realms of the eastern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. From here, to "O Blessed One, I have not perceived, nor have I truly seen the increase or decrease of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, together with the Sangha of Hearers and Bodhisattvas, in the world-realms of the upper direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River," this is to show that for the Tathagatas of the ten directions and their retinue of Hearers and the Sangha of Bodhisattvas, they are free from the two extremes of clinging to the existence or non-existence of things, and the assertion of slander. O Blessed One, since I have not perceived, nor have I truly seen the increase or decrease of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, together with the Sangha of Hearers and Bodhisattvas, to the name of the Bodhisattva also has no abiding, no end, no blessing. What is the reason for that? Because there is no that name, so that name has no abiding, no end, no blessing. This is to explain that the things and names of the Tathagatas of the ten directions and their retinue of Hearers and the Sangha of Bodhisattvas have no increase or decrease, therefore in the ultimate truth, it is the Bodhicitta.

Since neither the Bodhisattva nor the Perfection of Wisdom is established as existing, there is no instruction or subsequent indication, this is what is to be shown. "Bhagavan, I have not perceived nor truly seen the increase and decrease of the suchness of all dharmas," from "Why is that? Because that name does not exist. Therefore, that name has no dwelling, no end, no blessing," to "in between, shows that the suchness emptiness of all dharmas is free from the two extremes of clinging and defamation. Thus, having mentioned all compounded dharmas, since increase and decrease are not found in their entities and names, clinging to what is not actually existent, and subtracting from what is not conventionally non-existent, thus showing the proof of being free from the two extremes of clinging and defamation. Now, in order to show that the name Bodhisattva or Perfection of Wisdom is merely a designation, free from the two extremes of clinging and defamation, the Bhagavan said, "In any case, just like this, the Bodhisattva is called the name of dharma, and that which is called dharma," and so on. Among them, from "form, feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness" to "the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha are inexpressible, merely designated as dharma," it shows that whether it is the worldly dharmas such as aggregates, elements, and sources, or the transcendental dharmas such as the perfection of giving, the name of Bodhisattva and Perfection of Wisdom cannot be truly expressed in the entity of anything, therefore it is merely designated as the name of dharma in the conventional truth. "Bhagavan, for example, the name 'dream' cannot be expressed by anyone," from "to the name 'emanation of the Tathagata' cannot be expressed by anyone," using the example of dreams and illusions, etc., which are very famous as non-existent in the world,

It is also shown that the names of Bodhisattva and Prajñāpāramitā are inexpressible in the ultimate sense. Blessed One, for example, the name called "space" cannot be spoken by anyone, up to the name called "wind" cannot be spoken by anyone. The nature of mere imputation, known as the space element, and the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, are not established as truly existent in the ultimate sense, therefore they cannot be spoken of as any object. Similarly, the name called "suchness" cannot be spoken by anyone, up to the name called "ultimate limit" cannot be spoken by anyone. The nature of complete establishment, known as suchness, and the non-erroneous suchness, etc., the names of all those mentioned by name, are also not established as truly existent in the ultimate sense, therefore they cannot be spoken of as the name of any object. The nature of suchness, etc., has already been explained above. The name called "giving pāramitā" cannot be spoken by anyone, up to the name called "wisdom pāramitā" cannot be spoken by anyone. The Dharma nature of Bodhisattva is also known as the six pāramitās, but they are not established as truly existent in the ultimate sense, therefore they cannot be spoken of as any object. The name called "discipline" cannot be spoken by anyone, up to the name called "the Dharma of solitary Buddhas" cannot be spoken by anyone. The Dharma known as that of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the five aggregates without outflows, etc., and the fruits of Stream-enterer, etc., are also not established as truly existent in the ultimate sense, therefore they cannot be spoken of as the name of any object. The name called "Bodhisattva" cannot be spoken by anyone, etc., the Bodhisattva and the Blessed Buddha himself, and the Dharma of the Buddha, the ten powers and the four fearlessnesses, etc., are also not in the ultimate sense
