Ya, it is said that because it is the most excellent among those. This teaching is also similar to that principle, which means: This teaching that you have taught is also the same as the principle of meaning, saying that this teaching is good, and should be connected in this way. The venerable Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, should also train in the Prajnaparamita in the same way, which means: How Subhuti elaborately explained the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, the Bodhisattvas should also train in the same way, this is what is to be explained. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva's non-retrogression should also be fully examined from this, which means: If you study in that way, you should know from that principle that that Bodhisattva is non-retrogressive, this is what is to be explained. In that case, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should know that he is inseparable from the Prajnaparamita, which means: If you practice in that way, that Bodhisattva practices in accordance with the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, so it is said that he is inseparable from the Prajnaparamita. The venerable Subhuti, those who want to study in the Hearer's Ground should also diligently listen to this Prajnaparamita, and even the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wants to study in the Buddha Ground should also diligently listen to this Prajnaparamita. To hold, to recite, to understand, to properly apply the mind, until the Hearer's Ground, the Pratyekabuddha Ground, the Bodhisattva Ground, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Ground, for studying these grounds, the Prajnaparamita is also indispensable, because it is beneficial to all, this is what is to be explained. Diligently listening means listening better than others with the wisdom of listening, this is what is to be explained. To hold means: to memorize and remember the words that have been heard. To recite means: to not forget the words that have been memorized and remembered with memory. To read means: to write it in a book and treat it as a deity...

It should be recited. The meaning of 'should be fully understood' is: Regarding the profound meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā, one should realize and manifest it without any inversion through the wisdom of contemplation. 'Appropriately attend to it' means: Regarding the meaning of how to realize it, one should repeatedly familiarize oneself with it through the wisdom of meditation. Why is that? And so on, this is to show the reason for diligently practicing with the three kinds of wisdom, because the three vehicles that the Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas should train in are all extensively explained in this Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, one should train in this Prajñāpāramitā in this way, this is to summarize and explain the benefits of diligence, up to this point, the benefits of diligence have been explained. The fourth chapter of the extensive explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā. Fifth Chapter: The Chapter on Universal Conduct and Skillful Means. Now, in order to explain how many things there are to be diligent in, the various classifications of diligence will be explained. The various classifications of what should be diligently practiced will also be explained in the following text as the six kinds of definite arising. What are the six? They are: accomplishing separation from the two extremes, accomplishing non-abiding, accomplishing non-attachment, accomplishing thorough investigation, accomplishing skillful means, and accomplishing the swift manifestation of perfect enlightenment. Because these accomplishments definitely give rise to omniscience, they are called definite arising. In order to explain the various classifications of what should be diligently practiced for these definite arising accomplishments, for the sake of classification, the noble Subhūti asked the Blessed One: Thus, I have not seen, nor have I perceived the Bodhisattva and the Prajñāpāramitā, etc. If both the Bodhisattva who diligently practices in the ultimate sense and the Prajñāpāramitā that should be diligently practiced are unobtainable, then who and what Dharma should be advised and shown? This is to take up the words of advice on diligence mentioned above and ask about their meaning. Blessed One, thus, I have not seen all Dharmas increase or decrease.

From "not seeking" to "I will regret." Since neither dharma nor person is truly found in the ultimate sense, if one teaches Bodhisattva or Prajnaparamita by clinging to them as real entities, then one will fabricate and generate from non-entities, and the opposite of entities, non-existence, will also be accomplished. Thus, it will also become slander. If one thus fabricates and slanders, one will abide in the two extremes of existence and non-existence, and because it contradicts the meaning of the Prajnaparamita sutra, I will regret it. "Increasing" means fabricating by generating from non-entities in the ultimate sense. "Decreasing" means subtracting from what is not non-existent in the conventional sense, which is slander. Not abiding in the two extremes of fabrication and slander in this way demonstrates the proof of being free from the two extremes of existence and non-existence in persons and dharmas. Bhagavan, that name also has no abiding, no end, no blessing, etc., because the name Bodhisattva or Prajnaparamita also has no entity to be spoken of. Therefore, it shows abandoning the two extremes of abiding and non-abiding. If something is real, then like form and other conditioned dharmas, it either abides in a place and direction, or like space and other unconditioned dharmas, it does not abide in a place and direction. Since that name has no entity, there is no abiding, and there is also no non-abiding. "No end" means that there is also no non-abiding. "No blessing" means that by abandoning the two extremes of abiding and non-abiding, it is blessed by something that is neither abiding nor non-abiding, showing that it is also not abiding. In this way, for Bodhisattva and Prajnaparamita, from the perspective of existence and non-existence, abandoning the extremes of fabrication and slander, and for the name of Bodhisattva and the name of Prajnaparamita, briefly showing the proof of being free from the two extremes of clinging to abiding and non-abiding. Now...
