From "The great Bodhisattva who desires to fully cultivate and attain the five eyes," to "Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who train in these five eyes will manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment," it is shown that the Bodhisattva's five eyes are also attained through practicing the six perfections. Why is that? Starting with "Why is that?" and so on, the reason is revealed that all virtuous dharmas, including the five eyes, are contained within the six perfections. Starting with "Sharadvatiputra, if someone speaks truthfully," and so on, it is shown that among the six perfections, the Perfection of Wisdom is the most important. Whoever says that all virtuous dharmas are contained within the Perfection of Wisdom, that person speaks truthfully or speaks the truth. Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices this Perfection of Wisdom will attain the Perfection of Superknowledge, until "Perfecting the six superknowledges is increased by unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment," the six superknowledges of the Bodhisattva are explained. The superknowledge previously explained was the superknowledge of the Tathagata, which was a brief explanation. Here, the superknowledge of the Bodhisattvas is explained, which is a detailed explanation. Sharadvatiputra, also, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, abiding in the Perfection of Generosity, until "By holding and completely holding without coming and without going, one completely trains the path of omniscience," it is explained that some Bodhisattvas, due to the differences in the levels of the grounds and the extent of their practice, will completely cultivate all six perfections, while others will completely cultivate one, two, or three perfections, and so on. The phrase "Beyond limits, because it is emptiness" refers to:

It refers to abandoning the two extremes of superimposition and denigration. Because in the ultimate truth, one does not superimpose existence on things, and in the relative truth, one does not denigrate non-existence. The phrase "holding the mind without attachment" means that one does not regard the giver, the receiver, and the object of giving as real, and one is not attached to them. In this way, without superimposition or denigration, if one practices generosity with the purity of the three spheres, it is connected with "it will become the complete training of the path of omniscience," meaning that it makes the path to enlightenment complete. Similarly, the remaining perfections, such as discipline, should also be connected accordingly. The phrase "holding without coming and going" is because it has already been said "the path of omniscience." In order to dispel the thought that the path exists and that there is coming and going, it is said "without coming" and "without going." It means that all phenomena, when they arise, do not come from anywhere, and when they cease, they do not go anywhere. In this way, realizing that there is no coming and going is the complete training of the path to enlightenment. Among them, from "generosity is established from holding complete possession" to "wisdom is established from holding wrong wisdom," the six perfections of generosity, etc., are mentioned, but they are not truly existent in the ultimate truth. Rather, in the relative truth, they are merely imputed by counteracting generosity, etc., with the opposing side of stinginess, etc. There is no pride in "that is transcendence." There is no pride in "that is not transcendence," meaning that after abandoning the opposing side of generosity, etc., stinginess, etc., one does not think that one is liberated from those. Because stinginess, etc., themselves do not exist in the ultimate truth. There is no pride in "practicing generosity." There is no pride in "not practicing generosity," up to "is a possessor of wrong wisdom," there is no pride, the generosity, etc., that are mentioned in between.

The six perfections and the six opposing factors such as stinginess, are also shown not to be apprehended because they are not truly existent. By 'abandoning' etc., it is shown that there is no pride etc., and that one is not stained by the eight worldly concerns. Why? Because Sharadvatiputra shows the reason for this by 'abandoning' etc.: because the object to be abandoned, the one who abandons, and the act of abandoning are all not truly produced, therefore one does not apprehend in that way. That is the meaning. Why? Because the Perfection of Wisdom completely cuts off all pride. This shows that the Perfection of Wisdom has the meaning of cutting off all pride, so such pride does not arise in a Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom. Here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the son of Sharadvati, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, has countless qualities that are not possessed by Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Bodhisattvas practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, maturing beings, purifying Buddha-fields, and so on, the qualities that will be mentioned below, are not possessed by Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. What are these qualities? From 'maturing beings' to 'such practice will not degenerate from unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment'. From 'when this teaching of the Perfection of Wisdom is taught' to 'generating the mind for unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment', it shows that teaching the Perfection of Wisdom matures beings. Then, from 'the Bhagavan then smiled' to 'in a future time, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named King of Jewels, will appear in the world', it is about the perfection of the retinue.
