Wanting to uphold, one should study the Prajnaparamita, that is its meaning. Wanting to perfect the Buddha's body, etc., indicates the desire to obtain the pure qualities of the eighth bhumi. Among them, the thirty-two major marks of a great person and the eighty minor marks will be explained later, so they are not discussed here. Wanting to remember past lives, and wanting to obtain non-loss of bodhicitta, etc., which are easy to understand, are also not discussed. Next, what needs to be explained will be explained: Wanting to make a single virtuous thought, even until the Bodhi tree, never exhaust, just as a drop of water dropped into the ocean never dries up. Dedicating to all-knowing wisdom, even to the end of samsara, for the benefit of sentient beings, it will not be exhausted. Wanting to abide in the uninterrupted emanation of the Buddha, because the bodhisattva abiding in the eighth bhumi is irreversible, therefore the Buddha's emanation will not be interrupted. Wanting to protect the lineage of the bodhisattva, because it is also an irreversible ground, so it can protect the lineage of the bodhisattva without declining. Wanting to abide in the uninterrupted lineage of the Buddha, because the bodhisattva abiding in the eighth bhumi will definitely be prophesied to become a Buddha, so the lineage of the Buddha will not be interrupted. Therefore, wanting the lineage of the Buddha not to be interrupted, one should also study this Prajnaparamita, this is the concluding word. Wanting to abide in inner emptiness, that is the inner dharmas, eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind, etc. Among them, eye empty by eye, etc., is inner emptiness. The so-called outer emptiness is the outer dharmas, form, sound, smell, taste, touch, dharmas, etc. For example, form empty by form, etc. The so-called inner-outer emptiness is the inner six ayatanas and the outer six ayatanas, these are inner-outer dharmas. Among them, the inner dharmas are

are the aggregates, elements, sense-sources, form, formlessness, conditioned, unconditioned, and so on. All these dharmas are empty by the very nature of all dharmas. The emptiness of own-being means that the characteristic of form is to exist as form; the characteristic of feeling is to experience pleasure, pain, and neither pleasure nor pain; the characteristic of perception is to apprehend signs; the characteristic of consciousness is to know by distinguishing and differentiating; the characteristic of the aggregates is suffering; the characteristic of the elements is like a swift poison; the characteristic of the sense-sources is the gate through which consciousness arises, and so forth. The own-being of all dharmas is empty of its own-being. The emptiness of non-apprehension means that the past is not apprehended, the future is not apprehended, and the present also does not occur and is not apprehended. This non-apprehension itself is emptiness by its very nature of non-apprehension. The emptiness of non-entity means that all dharmas are thus not apprehended. In order to reverse the thought that the nature of what is non-existent is considered to exist, that non-entity is also empty by its very nature of non-entity. The emptiness of own-nature means that own-nature is the own-nature of self and the own-nature of others, and that which is called the own-nature of others is also empty of the own-nature of self and others. The emptiness of the own-nature of non-entity means that the conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are said to be non-entities, and in order to reverse the arising of the conceptualization that the own-nature of non-entity is considered to exist, the own-nature of non-entity is also not existent, but is the synonym for emptiness. Those who wish to abide in such emptiness should train in the Perfection of Wisdom, and this should be applied to everything. These emptinesses, although their nature is exhausted in one, are divided into eighteen as a distinction, in order to reverse the apprehension of signs in external and internal objects, and the mind and thought of the yogi.
