Having abandoned both the obscuration of afflictions and the obscuration of knowledge, and having attained the non-abiding Nirvana, until the end of Samsara, solely engaging in benefiting sentient beings, this is the distinction of the result. The desire to abide in the irreversible stage refers to generating the mind of enlightenment. Later, turning away from the mind of enlightenment occurs due to four reasons: not possessing the lineage of a Bodhisattva, or being completely controlled by evil companions, or having little compassion, or fearing because the suffering of Samsara is extremely prolonged and unbearable, thus one might turn away from the mind of enlightenment. These four reasons are not present in a Bodhisattva who has fully embraced them. Therefore, the stage of Joyful and so forth are called the irreversible stage. The desire to abide in the six superknowledges refers to, in addition to the five superknowledges mentioned earlier, the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements, these six are called the six superknowledges. The desire to know the various changes in the minds and behaviors of all sentient beings refers to, because Bodhisattvas are committed to the welfare of sentient beings, knowing exactly what sentient beings are thinking in their minds, and what actions they have faith in, etc., because it is necessary to do those things, therefore it is said. The desire to overwhelm the wisdom of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas refers to, the wisdom of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas only knows the absence of self in individuals, the wisdom of Bodhisattvas realizes the absence of self in both individuals and phenomena, therefore the desire to overwhelm, this is the conclusion of this statement. The desire to obtain many Dharani gates and Samadhi gates refers to, the Dharanis of mantras and the Dharanis of meanings, etc., and the Samadhis such as Heroic Progress, are the causes and gates for Bodhisattvas to attain the stages, and for Buddhas to attain, therefore they are called Dharani and Samadhi gates. The desire to overwhelm all the roots of virtue of all the sons and daughters of the Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha vehicles who give alms with a single mind of rejoicing refers to, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas

The mind of giving of the Buddhas is not pure because it is accompanied by attachment and discrimination, and because it is done for the sake of the fruit of existence and for one's own benefit. The mind of a Bodhisattva who rejoices is without attachment, without discrimination, not the object of signs, and accomplishes the benefit of oneself and others. Because of these excellent qualities, it is superior and overcomes. Similarly, other things such as ethics should also be applied. Even if a small gift is given for the sake of all sentient beings, how can it become immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable by dedicating it to the omniscient state through skillful means? It is said that because sentient beings are immeasurable and the omniscient state is inconceivable. Dedicating it through skillful means is not without resources. Even if a small gift is given, because the object of giving is immeasurable and countless, the object of dedication is inconceivable, and the three circles are completely pure, one desires that the result becomes immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable, which is the concluding statement. Similarly, from ethics to the perfection of wisdom, it should also be applied. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to abide in the perfection of giving and who wishes to perfect the perfection of giving, means that practicing giving with the three circles not completely pure is abiding in giving. When the three circles are completely pure, it is called the perfection of giving. The remaining five perfections, such as the perfection of ethics, should also be applied in the same way. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva generates this thought: How can I see the body of the Buddha in all lifetimes? It means wanting to directly see the Dharmakaya and Rupakaya of the Tathagata, and having seen them, also wanting to be encouraged to do good deeds by the Buddha, also wanting to be remembered by the Buddha, also wanting to please the Buddha, and also wanting to be
