If someone asks, if this Perfection of Wisdom is written in a book and given to you, which of the two should be chosen? The answer is summarized by saying: Of the two, one should choose this Perfection of Wisdom in the conventional truth. Therefore, writing and upholding the Perfection of Wisdom, etc., show the great benefit of accumulating particularly excellent merit. O Blessed One, when I myself take up this Perfection of Wisdom and recite it with a mind belonging to the Dharma, not even the slightest sign of fear or anxiety will truly appear. And so on, this shows the benefit that if one takes up this Perfection of Wisdom and reads and recites it with faith and belief in the profound Dharma, the cause or sign of becoming fearful and anxious will not arise even in the slightest. The reason why not even the slightest sign of fear and anxiety arises is because this Perfection of Wisdom, in the ultimate sense, has no sign, no characteristic, no expression, and no mention. Among these, having no sign is because it is free from all the proliferation of conceptual thought. Having no characteristic is because it is free from the characteristic of the nature of things. Being inexpressible is because it is not the domain of words. Being unmentionable is because it is not the nature of sound. Similarly, the Perfection of Meditation and so on, up to all-knowingness, should also be applied in the same way. O Blessed One, if the Perfection of Wisdom is without signs, and if it is without signs, and so on, this shows the reason why all dharmas, including the Perfection of Wisdom, are without signs. The Tathagata also awakened to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment because he awakened to all dharmas as being without signs. If the teaching of the Dharma without signs to sentient beings is connected with this, then it shows that the Perfection of Wisdom is manifested as being without signs. O Blessed One, therefore, this Perfection of Wisdom is by the world with gods, humans, and asuras... etc., this is because according to the manner described above, this Perfection of Wisdom is without signs, so holding it and...

When engaging in activities such as reading, not even a sign of fear or unease will arise. Therefore, it shows that it possesses the qualities worthy of being offered and revered by the world, including gods, humans, and asuras. World Honored One, if someone upholds and recites this Prajnaparamita, from "from Buddha-field to Buddha-field," upholding and reciting this Prajnaparamita, etc., and writing it in books and making offerings and reverence, they will not fall into the three lower realms, will not become those with inferior vehicle views, will directly see the Tathagata, will possess the power to fully ripen sentient beings, will make offerings and reverence to the Tathagatas, and it shows the benefit of possessing the power to go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field. World Honored One, furthermore, if even filling the three thousand great thousand worlds with the relics of the Tathagatas were given, and if this Prajnaparamita were also written and given, World Honored One, out of those two jewels, I would take this Prajnaparamita, which shows that even the merit of filling the three thousand great thousand worlds with the relics of the Tathagatas and making offerings is not as great as the merit of writing this Prajnaparamita and making offerings. World Honored One, what is the reason for that? Because the Tathagatas and the relics of the Tathagatas arise from this Prajnaparamita, from "Prajnaparamita and the Tathagata are not different, they are not made different," the Tathagatas and the relics of the Tathagatas are also worthy of offering because they arise from the Prajnaparamita, and the sons or daughters of good families who make offerings to the Tathagatas and the relics of the Tathagatas will also not fall into the lower realms, and

I have experienced that if one attains complete nirvana through the three vehicles, then what need is there to mention offering and venerating the Prajnaparamita, the cause of these arising? It shows the benefit of seeing the Prajnaparamita as being the same as seeing the Tathagata. O Bhagavan, furthermore, that the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha enters into the three kinds of miracles, etc., refers to the Tathagata explaining the twelve branches of scripture, and holding and fully understanding this Prajnaparamita, It shows the benefit of the merit and qualities of teaching others being the same. Among them, the three miracles are: knowing what others think in their minds and then teaching the Dharma in accordance with that; causing sentient beings to have faith through various miracles and then teaching the Dharma; and through the door of the two truths, thoroughly establishing all dharmas, teaching the Dharma in a way of advising and disciplining, in order to lead sentient beings towards benefit and away from harm. These three ways are very wonderful and rare, so many sentient beings generate faith and desire, therefore it is called the three miracles. O Bhagavan, furthermore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha of the eastern direction, etc., refers to the Buddhas, Bhagavan, of the ten directions, as many as the sands of the Ganges, abiding in the three miracles, explaining the twelve branches of scripture. Whichever son or daughter of good family holds and fully understands this Prajnaparamita, and teaches it to others, the merit of both is the same, showing this benefit. O Bhagavan, furthermore, from each of the ten directions, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha of the world realms as many as the sands of the Ganges, until "This is because the Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyak-sambuddhas all arise from this," refers to each of the ten directions, offering various offerings to the Tathagatas as many as the sands of the Ganges, and the Prajnaparamita.
