Having invoked the earth, the Blessed One spoke thus to Indra, the lord of the gods, from "until the complete attainment of omniscience" is Indra's repetition of "It is so" to firmly convince the retinue who praise the benefits of the Prajñāpāramitā. Kauśika! Furthermore, grasping the Prajñāpāramitā, i.e., completely grasping, etc., refers to the merit of listening to the Prajñāpāramitā, diligently engaging through means such as contemplation, and the inability of demons and heretics, etc., to create obstacles in this life. "Refuting" means waging war and fighting against others. "Separating" means not giving the Prajñāpāramitā as an object of practice and causing separation. "Arguing" means relying on the tenets of heretics to engage in debate. "Desiring to refute" means seizing the shortcomings and faults of the Prajñāpāramitā and refuting them. Why is that? Kauśika! This is because the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva has long practiced the Pāramitā of giving, etc., which indicates the reason why demons and heretics, etc., cannot create obstacles. When the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajñāpāramitā practices the six Pāramitās for a long time, for the benefit of sentient beings, he abandons the opposing factors of the six Pāramitās, such as giving, i.e., the internal and external dharmas of fighting, arguing, conflicting, and debating. In order to establish all sentient beings in the Pāramitās, such obstacle creators will not arise. Kauśika! For what purpose are these sentient beings, i.e., the latent tendencies and manifestations that revolve in samsara, subdued by the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva? It is to encourage these sentient beings to correctly enter the four dhyānas, up to correctly encouraging them to enter the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment.

In the meantime, for the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajñāpāramitā, the cause of the benefit that demons and heretics cannot create obstacles is explained. The Bodhisattva who practices the Prajñāpāramitā does not generate afflictions such as greed, which are the cause of fighting and contention for sentient beings, and makes all these sentient beings truly enter and abide in all pure dharmas such as the four dhyānas. Therefore, it is explained that demons and others cannot create obstacles. Among them, the so-called "latent" refers to the afflictions such as greed existing in the form of habits. The so-called "manifestation" refers to the manifestation of these afflictions. Kauśika, in this way, when the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva practices the Bodhisattva conduct, these merits appear, which means summarizing and explaining the benefits mentioned above that demons and others cannot create obstacles appear in this life. From "In the next life, one can also realize the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment," etc., it explains that the benefits of practicing the Prajñāpāramitā appear in future lives. Kauśika, in addition, wherever there is a son or daughter of good family who upholds and recites this Prajñāpāramitā, etc., it explains the benefits of practicing the Prajñāpāramitā, that demons and heretics cannot even get close to it, and the benefits of liberation from suffering in the next life through the three vehicles, and it is explained with the example of trees. Why is that? Kauśika, this is because the Prajñāpāramitā can pacify all evil and unwholesome dharmas, etc., which explains that the Prajñāpāramitā has the power to pacify all evil and unwholesome dharmas, and therefore has such great benefits. The so-called evil and unwholesome dharmas refer to the dharmas belonging to the aspect of afflictions such as greed, and the six perfections, etc.

Those who view the dharmas up to omniscience and nirvana as real and cling to characteristics will also become obstacles to attaining unsurpassed enlightenment, and therefore are counted among sinful and unwholesome dharmas. Kausika! In the realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds, the four great kings and Indra, the lord of the gods, and so on, will increase through omniscience in an unapprehendable manner, and will not completely diminish. Therefore, for the bodhisattva who practices this Prajnaparamita, the four great kings and other worldly gods will always protect and guard, and the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-ones of the ten directions, will also always protect and guard, and will completely abandon unwholesome dharmas, and will be endowed with wholesome dharmas such as the six perfections up to omniscience, and that bodhisattva will also increase through those wholesome dharmas, and will never decline, this is the teaching of its benefits. From "he will be endowed with worthy words" to "I will also attain omniscience, and will also encourage others to attain omniscience, and will also praise the merits of omniscience, and if there are those who wish to attain omniscience, I will also praise their merits and rejoice," is that the bodhisattva who practices this Prajnaparamita will be free from the faults of speech and mind, and I will also abandon the ten unwholesome actions and be endowed with the ten wholesome actions, and will be able to cause others to abandon the ten unwholesome actions and enter into the ten wholesome actions, and I will also practice the dharmas such as the six perfections up to omniscience, and will be able to cause others to enter into those dharmas and practice, this is the teaching of its benefits. When he practices the six perfections, giving is complete.
