I enter into samadhi in the absence of defilements, and do not enter into that which is afflicted. This is a vow. Here also, because one does not perceive samadhi and samadhi, and distraction, one will perfect the pāramitā. Because of not perceiving all dharmas, one should perfect the Prajñāpāramitā. Why? Because by seeing only suchness, one does not perceive all the imputed dharmas of the mundane, and does not discriminate even that which transcends the world. Therefore, it is called Prajñāpāramitā. How does one abide in the Prajñāpāramitā and perfect the Prajñāpāramitā? When the Prajñāpāramitā is called the all-knowingness of all aspects, and the Mahāyāna, then there is no dispute. When it is called non-discriminating wisdom, then also, in the ultimate sense, there is no dharma of the Prajñāpāramitā. Thinking thus, the Prajñāpāramitā, the self-nature of non-discrimination, abides in the Prajñāpāramitā of non-discriminating wisdom. At that time, the three realms and so forth are only suchness. The wisdom that arises conventionally, belonging to the path of application, although it is the nature of discrimination, because it is completely grasped by non-discriminating wisdom, it is called Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, abiding in the Prajñāpāramitā, with the intention of cultivating the Prajñāpāramitā, there is no dispute. Here also, because one does not perceive the wise and wisdom, and perverse wisdom, one should know that the three spheres are completely pure. Having thus explained the practice of the non-discriminating pāramitā, now the practice of the aspects of enlightenment without defilements will be shown. That is, Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, abiding in the Prajñāpāramitā, because of not perceiving the mindfulness, should perfect the four mindfulnesses and so forth. Aspects of enlightenment.

Thinking about these dharmas, the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, who are practitioners of the vehicle focused on nirvana, are suitable for themselves. Are Bodhisattvas not suitable? Answer: There is no fault in this. Bodhisattvas wish to realize all dharmas in all aspects and focus on the unobtainability of all dharmas. So, are the dharmas conducive to enlightenment truly existent or non-existent? It is reasonable to thoroughly examine them. If that were the case, by meditating on the dharmas conducive to enlightenment, nirvana would be directly realized. However, will Bodhisattvas attain from stream-enterer to Arhatship? Answer: Due to the power of previous effort, this will be accomplished, so there is no fault in this. Those who see samsara as a fault and become disgusted, and see nirvana as a virtue and seek and practice it, due to the power of previous effort, by meditating on the mindfulness, etc., will directly realize nirvana without effort. Bodhisattvas, who have equanimity towards samsara and nirvana, and focus on benefiting all sentient beings and bringing happiness, because it is the cause of benefiting sentient beings, see samsara as having virtues like nirvana. Because it is not a place to benefit sentient beings, they see nirvana as unfavorable like samsara, and it is merely the nature of dharma, so they see both as equal, and because they separately realize the nature of non-appearance, they meditate on the dharmas conducive to enlightenment. They are merely directly realizing the dharmas conducive to enlightenment, not abiding for the sake of the fruit of stream-entry, etc., or for the sake of directly realizing nirvana, this is called the wisdom of being completely familiar with it. Like this, from below also abiding in the dharmas conducive to enlightenment, knowing that this is the time to be completely familiar, not the time to be directly realized, etc., is the wisdom of being completely familiar.
