It is shown to be great. Acting in accordance with the path of enlightenment is practice, therefore, it is said that the perfection of generosity should be perfected. Ultimately, not conceptually thinking about all phenomena is the complete purification of the three spheres. Therefore, it is said that because the object of giving, the giver, and the receiver are not perceived, one should practice generosity in a way that there is no giving. Although Bodhisattvas, moved by compassion, give whatever all sentient beings desire, at that time it is only said to be giving, but it is not the perfection of giving. When giving is done, or after giving is given, it is completely examined with four kinds of thorough examination, and having completely understood with four kinds of knowing as it is, and purifying completely with wisdom, at that time it becomes known as the perfection that has been well practiced. Bodhisattvas first do all actions with compassion, and later purify them completely with wisdom. Therefore, compassion is the cause of practice, wisdom is the cause of purification, compassion is the cause of purifying intention, wisdom is the cause of purifying action, compassion is the cause of abiding in the conventional and practicing, wisdom is the cause of abiding in the ultimate and purifying. Compassion is counted as the accumulation of merit because all actions are done for the benefit of sentient beings, and wisdom is counted as the accumulation of wisdom because all actions are done for the sake of enlightenment. Therefore, it is said that the perfection of generosity should be perfected in a way that there is no giving. Here, Bodhisattvas, from the time of realizing suchness on the first ground, examine all actions in terms of ultimate truth. By directly seeing suchness, they will abide in suchness, and not otherwise. That suchness, even at the time of giving, no one can give or receive. Therefore, ultimately, there is nothing called giving. Whatever giving there is of food, drink, bedding, and so on, all of those abide in conceptually constructed phenomena.

Because it is like a dream and an illusion, it is not real. Therefore, in terms of ultimate truth, the nature of completely abandoning and the aspect of not abandoning are the same. With the reasoning of not abandoning, one does not cling to the object to be given, the giver himself, and the beggar receiving, because it is free from the nature of non-attachment. In this way, one can perfect the perfection of generosity. First, the reason is to abide in the aspect of conventional truth generated by the power of compassion, and to practice generosity by the power of worldly actions. Then, by the power of wisdom, one abides in the aspect of ultimate truth, and by the power of transcendental actions, if one completely observes everything with wisdom, then at that time one becomes unattached. Therefore, it is called the perfection of generosity. Therefore, the initial object of generating the mind of enlightenment, sentient beings and enlightenment, are not abandoned, therefore, the name Bodhisattva also becomes meaningful. If so, the object to be given, the giver, and the receiver are not clung to, but generosity is extremely contradictory, then how can one achieve non-contradiction? It can be achieved by the power of the perfection of skillful means, the perfection of skillful means is the compassion that clings to the conventional and the wisdom that does not cling to the ultimate, like the combination of creatures walking on dry land and in water, although extremely contradictory, but in a combined way, helping each other without contradiction, practicing together until enlightenment, if one accomplishes all the accumulations of merit and wisdom, it becomes the supreme method of benefiting Bodhisattvas, and these contents will also be elaborated in the corresponding chapters below. In order not to fall and even more not to fall, one should perfect the perfection of discipline. Bodhisattvas are divided into the precepts of lay Bodhisattvas and the precepts of ordained Bodhisattvas, if one correctly upholds and abides in them, even if one falls...

One should quickly confess so as not to fall into root downfalls, and especially not to fall. Therefore, it is said that it is for not falling and especially for not falling. Here, one should also strive to abide in the perfection of wisdom, saying, "I am endowed with morality! I am morality! This is the morality of a libertine!" Since these three discriminations are not observed, one should know that the three circles are completely pure. As it is said below, one should not be arrogant, thinking, "I am endowed with morality, this is morality, this is the morality of a libertine." In order to be free from disturbance, one should perfect the perfection of patience, which shows the nature of the perfection of patience. That is, through the power of compassion, there is no disturbance towards the actions of sentient beings, and through the power of wisdom, one realizes selflessness. Here also, since patience, what is to be endured, and harmful thoughts are not observed, the three circles are completely pure, as will be explained below. In order to prevent the decline of physical and mental diligence, one should perfect the perfection of diligence. This shows the entry into the perfection of diligence. Constantly, respectfully, and earnestly, one should not allow the diligence of body and mind to decline, but should perfect the perfection of diligence. This is its summary. This non-decline is also transformed by wisdom and compassion. Here also, since diligence, diligence, and laziness are not observed, it becomes the perfection. In order not to taste flavors, one should perfect the perfection of meditation. If one enters meditation for one's own benefit, one will taste the flavor of meditation. In this way, a Bodhisattva condemns all actions that are solely for his own benefit as if they were sins. How could he have the intention of tasting the flavor of meditation? Therefore, from the three meditations of defiled, pure, and undefiled, the pure
