Because it is the cause for understanding the distinctions of all things abiding in the Samadhi of the Earth, it is called Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, whatever aspect of the Mahāyāna path manifests such forms is also called Prajñāpāramitā. Among these expressions of Prajñāpāramitā, here it refers to the wisdom belonging to the Buddha-bhūmi, which is transcendent and non-conceptual, as Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, one should strive in this Prajñāpāramitā, meaning one should strive in the Prajñāpāramitā that is free from all concepts and utterly pure. Some say that Prajñāpāramitā here refers to the Mahāyāna, thus abandoning the Śrāvakayāna and Pratyekabuddhayāna, meaning it is a term for striving in the Mahāyāna. Some say that when Prajñāpāramitā refers to Sarvākārajñatā, then striving in Prajñāpāramitā means striving for the sake of Sarvākārajñatā. When non-conceptual wisdom or the Mahāyāna is called Prajñāpāramitā, it should be understood as abiding in that Prajñāpāramitā and striving. There are three types of striving in Prajñāpāramitā: striving in learning, striving in practice, and striving in perfect accomplishment. Among these, the time of listening, contemplating, etc., is the striving in learning, which is what will be explained below as "one should learn Prajñāpāramitā." The time of practice is the striving in practice, which is what will be explained below as "one should practice Prajñāpāramitā." The time of complete realization is the striving in perfect accomplishment, which is what will be explained below as "one should strive." This will be explained below. Striving in

The word "o" is a synonym for what is appropriate to do, that is, the kind of action. Those words explain the three ways of who does, to whom, and what to do. Because there is no certainty for the hearers and solitary realizers, only Bodhisattvas should do it. Because it is the root of all that is to be practiced, it should be done to the Prajnaparamita itself. One should strive with continuity, respect, and accomplishment, etc. Here, the three perfections of result, cause, and application are shown. The so-called "all dharmas manifest complete enlightenment in all aspects" is the result. The so-called "Prajnaparamita" is the cause. The so-called "should strive" is the application. Just as it is said in the Diamond Sutra, "to abide, to practice, and to subdue the mind," so it is here, too, because one wants all dharmas to manifest complete enlightenment in all aspects, this shows the perfection of intention, which is the indication of abiding. The so-called "should strive" is the showing of practice. The so-called "for Prajnaparamita" is to show the subduing of the mind in order to strive for the non-discriminating Prajnaparamita. Thus, through the initial statement, for the sake of those who have understanding, after perfecting the Prajnaparamita, the Blessed One became silent. After that, in order to distinguish the occasion when the Venerable Shariputra elaborated, telling the middle length for the sake of those who have understanding, the Blessed One said, "How should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wants all dharmas to manifest complete enlightenment in all aspects strive for the Prajnaparamita?" and began the question. That refers to asking about the four points, namely, how to become a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, how to want all dharmas to manifest complete enlightenment in all aspects, how it is Prajnaparamita, and how to strive. That

Fourthly, it is also shown below as the occasion arises. Among them, for this son of Sharadvati, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the Prajnaparamita in a non-abiding manner, and because there is no clinging to giving, bestowing, and receiving, he perfects the Paramita of Giving in a non-giving manner, etc. Having summarized and shown all the Dharmas through the gate of concise exposition, he shows the four conducts. The four conducts are also the conduct of the non-discriminating Paramita, the conduct of the Bodhipakshika free from afflictions, the conduct of maturing sentient beings without interruption, and the conduct of perfecting all the Buddha Dharmas without attachment. Among them, the conduct of the Paramita is accomplished by skillful means, the conduct of the Bodhipakshika is accomplished by fully familiar knowledge, the conduct of maturing sentient beings is accomplished by compassion, and the conduct of perfecting the Buddha Dharmas is accomplished by wisdom. Among them, the conduct of the non-discriminating Paramita is shown by "abiding in the Prajnaparamita in a non-abiding manner," and so on. That conduct of the Paramita is also shown in three ways: abiding, practicing, and the purity of the three spheres, as in the Vajracchedika, which shows how to abide, how to practice, and how to subdue the mind. Among them, "abiding in the Prajnaparamita in a non-abiding manner" means abandoning the desire for a different result than that, with the power of compassion, with the intention to benefit all sentient beings and accomplish happiness, and with the power of wisdom, whether it is the three realms or all Dharmas, not abiding in anything is what is meant here by abiding in the Prajnaparamita. That which does not abide in everything is what it means to abide in the Prajnaparamita. Here, Prajnaparamita means omniscience, or non-discriminating wisdom, or the Vehicle.
