The meaning of "even elsewhere, the Tathagata cannot be seen" is that, in this way, from the ultimate point of view, all dharmas are without distinction, their nature is suchness, and the Tathagata is also the nature of suchness, this is what is to be shown. Subhuti said: Kauśika (Sanskrit Devanagari: Kauśika, Sanskrit Romanization: Kauśika, Chinese literal meaning: Kauśika), it is indeed so, it is indeed so. Apart from the unconditioned dharma-nature, the Tathagata cannot be seen, and apart from suchness, the Tathagata cannot be seen, this is to say that the unconditioned dharma-nature, suchness, and the Tathagata, from the ultimate point of view, become one in emptiness, the meaning of non-difference spoken by Indra is like that. In the unconditioned dharma-nature, the Tathagata cannot be seen, and in the Tathagata, the unconditioned dharma-nature cannot be seen. In suchness, the Tathagata cannot be seen. In the Tathagata, suchness cannot be seen, this is to say that the unconditioned dharma-nature, suchness, and the Tathagata, are not existing and appearing in the way of mutual dependence and reliance, but are non-different in the way of becoming one in emptiness, this is what is to be shown. In the suchness of form, the Tathagata cannot be seen, and in the Tathagata, the suchness of form cannot be seen, and so on, this is to say that the suchness, dharma-nature, and Tathagata of form, etc., are also not existing and appearing in the way of mutual dependence and reliance, but in the way of suchness and dharma-nature, they become one in emptiness, there is no difference, this is what is to be shown. Just as it is said about the five aggregates of form, etc., so also it should be understood up to the all-knowingness. Kauśika (Sanskrit Devanagari: Kauśika, Sanskrit Romanization: Kauśika, Chinese literal meaning: Kauśika), the so-called Tathagata, is neither associated with the suchness of form, nor separated from it, that is to say, neither associated with the dharma-nature of form, nor separated from it. Other dharmas that are not associated with the suchness of form are neither associated nor separated. Other dharmas that are not associated with the dharma-nature of form are neither associated,
