I think it is impossible to have so many good things in the world. These flowers are not grown from gardens, nor are they grown from water and land, but are manifested. I think they are born from the heart. This is what is to be expressed. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said to the Venerable Subhuti: "Venerable Subhuti, these flowers are not born. These flowers are not born from the heart, nor are they born from the garden." The reason for saying this is that Subhuti praised these flowers as beautiful and rare before, so they are manifested. Indra combined the praise of being born from the heart with the ultimate truth, indicating that these flowers are not truly born. Since they are not born from the heart, let alone not born from the garden. Subhuti said: "Kaushika, you say that these flowers are not born, these flowers are not born from the heart, nor are they born from the garden." Kaushika, what is not born in this way is not a flower. This is Indra's further emphasis by showing that these flowers are not born in the ultimate truth. If they are not born in this way, then not born is nothing, so it is not a flower. Indra said: "Venerable Subhuti, are these flowers just not born? Or is form also not born?" etc. This is to initiate a discussion, indicating that all dharmas such as form are not born and there is no thing, so this question is asked. Subhuti said: "Kaushika, these are not only not born, but also Kaushika, form is not born. Whatever is not born is not form." etc. This is to show that all the dharmas mentioned by name from the five aggregates such as form to the Tathagata are not born in the ultimate truth. Whatever is not born is not the nature of dharmas such as form in the ultimate truth. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, thought: Alas, this Venerable Subhuti's saying is not contrary to the conventional truth, and he also proclaims the nature of dharma. He is a person of profound wisdom. This is because Subhuti before

Having shown that all places are unborn and unmanifest, whatever is unborn and unmanifest is not the nature of all dharmas such as form. After showing this meaning, Indra understood, showing that the venerable Subhuti's wisdom is so profound and rare. It is said that it does not contradict imputation and also shows the nature of dharma, which means that in conventional truth, it shows that it does not contradict the nature of all dharmas, and in ultimate truth, it shows that these dharmas are unborn, unmanifest, and without substance, which is also called showing the nature of dharma. Then, the Blessed One said to Indra, the lord of the gods: It is so, Kauśika (कौशिक, कौशिका,kauśika, owl), it is so. The venerable Subhuti possesses profound wisdom, therefore he does not contradict imputation and also shows the nature of dharma, which means that the Blessed One affirmed the meaning thought by Indra. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, how does the venerable Subhuti not contradict imputation and also show the nature of dharma? This is to make all the retinue understand the meaning of not contradicting imputation and also showing the nature of dharma, so he asked the Blessed One. After saying that, the Blessed One said to Indra, the lord of the gods: Kauśika (कौशिक, कौशिका,kauśika, owl), form is just imputation. Whatever is imputed is the nature of dharma. The venerable Subhuti has shown that he does not contradict this. And so on, all dharmas from the five aggregates to complete perfect enlightenment are merely nominal designations in conventional truth. Whatever is nominally designated is not substantially existent in ultimate truth. Therefore, being without substance in ultimate truth is itself the nature of dharmas, which is reality. Showing that it does not contradict such reality means showing that there is no intention of addition or slander. Kauśika (कौशिक, कौशिका,kauśika, owl), why is that? Whatever is the nature of dharmas is non-contradictory, completely non-contradictory. If there is a substance, then the nature of these two substances is different, and they may also contradict each other. In ultimate truth, these dharmas are without substance, therefore they have the same taste, mutually
