How should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva train in the Perfection of Wisdom? It should be trained in the manner that there is absolutely no Dharma to be trained in. The meaning of asking for a detailed explanation will be discussed below. After saying this, the Venerable Subhuti said to Indra, the Lord of the Gods, and so on, meaning what is the Perfection of Wisdom, how should one abide in it, how should one train in it, and also to cause those sons of gods who have not generated the mind for Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi to generate the mind for Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi, all of which are shown by the power of the Buddha and the blessing of the Buddha. The words "listen well and pay attention" are connected to the previous text. Those who have entered the right path of liberation do not have the power to generate the mind for Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi. This means that even the noble Shravakas who have entered the stream are called those who have entered the right path of liberation. Thus, those whose minds are fixed on the Lesser Vehicle cannot generate the mind for Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi like Bodhisattvas. That is the meaning. Why is that? It is because they have cut off the continuity of Samsara. This shows the reason why Shravakas and others cannot generate the mind for Supreme Bodhi. Bodhisattvas, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, do not abandon Samsara, but through the means of taming, they are born in Samsara and abide in Samsara. The vast practices of Bodhisattvas are practiced for a long time, and then they can manifest and realize Supreme Bodhi. Shravakas and others, fearing the suffering of Samsara, abandon Samsara and quickly go to Nirvana, which is a part of peace. This is called cutting off the continuity of Samsara, so they do not have the power to generate the mind for Supreme Bodhi. However, if they generate the mind for Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi, then we also rejoice in them. This means that even the noble Shravakas and others generate the mind for Supreme and Perfect

This is to show that there is a chance to attain perfect enlightenment. Some Shravakas abide in a solitary place, but in conjunction with their karma, they are inspired by the light of the Tathagata, generate the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment, and enter the conduct of Bodhisattvas. For them, too, this Prajnaparamita should be taught, that is its meaning. Because one can obtain more excellent dharmas from excellent dharmas, I do not obstruct their virtuous deeds. The "noble Shravakas" here refer to those who are more excellent than ordinary worldly people and non-Buddhists. And Bodhisattvas are even more excellent than Shravakas. Therefore, since it is possible for Shravakas to enter the conduct of Bodhisattvas, this Prajnaparamita should also be taught to them. Do not exploit and settle Shravakas, that is its meaning. Kauśika: What is the Prajnaparamita of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva? Kauśika: Here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, thinks of form as impermanent in a non-attached manner, and so on. Earlier, Indra asked, "What is the Prajnaparamita of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva?" In response, Subhuti showed the way to enter Prajnaparamita through the path of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. That is, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, thinking of form and other dharmas as impermanent and painful, etc., this belongs to the Prajnaparamita that leads to all-knowingness. Here, "thinking of form as impermanent" means that it arises from what has not arisen, and after arising, it will also disappear, therefore it is impermanent. "Thinking of form as painful" is because it possesses various harms. "Thinking of form as selfless" is because it does not possess the characteristics of the self conceived by non-Buddhists. "Thinking of form as peaceful"

It is for the sake of truly pacifying all suffering. "Form is solitary, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is truly free from afflictions. "Form is internal, one should contemplate it thus," is because it needs to be nourished by many conditions, and it is the cause of the arising of suffering of body and mind, therefore one should contemplate it as a disease. "Form is a boil, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is endowed with the harm of suffering, and pus and blood of afflictions flow out, therefore, like a boil, one should contemplate it as a boil. "Form is a dart, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is pierced by external and internal harm, and it is difficult to cure, therefore, like a dart, one should contemplate it as a dart. "Form is evil, one should contemplate it thus," is because it should be reproached, and it will become unpleasant, therefore, like evil, one should contemplate it as evil. "Form is sickness, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is endowed with long-lasting harm, therefore, like a chronic disease, one should contemplate it as sickness. "Form is an enemy, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is the cause of the arising of discomfort and various harms, therefore, like an enemy, one should contemplate it as an enemy. "Form is of the nature of destruction, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is the nature of being completely destroyed by disease, old age, and death, therefore it is called the nature of destruction. "Form is impermanent, one should contemplate it thus," is because of the states of birth, old age, etc., and because it changes and does not remain in one place, therefore it is impermanent. "Form is decaying, one should contemplate it thus," is because it decays by its own nature, and it decays by the conditions that cause decay, therefore it is decaying. "Form is fearful, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is the cause of all fears, such as external enemies and internal diseases. "Form is contagious disease, one should contemplate it thus," is because it is mixed with many harms, and like a contagious disease, therefore it is a contagious disease. "Form is emptiness, one should contemplate it thus," is because there is no agent within it, therefore it is emptiness. "Form is without self, one should contemplate it thus," is because there is no view of grasping at feelings and other phenomena as self. "Form is unreliable, one should contemplate it thus,
