All are of the nature of abandoning everything. An Arhat is a person who abides in the fruit of Arhatship. The Dharma of an Arhat is that all the afflictions of the three realms are completely abandoned, what needs to be done has been done, the burden has been cast off, and there is no other existence beyond this, and so on. Solitary Buddhas are of two types: those who practice together with a retinue, and those who dwell alone like a rhinoceros horn in any place. The Dharma of a Solitary Buddha is that without needing to receive teachings from others, one realizes the Dharma of dependent origination through one's own wisdom, and without teaching the Dharma with words, one benefits sentient beings by displaying miracles. Bodhisattvas are those who abide from the first bhumi to the tenth bhumi. The Dharma of a Bodhisattva is to realize the selflessness of both persons and phenomena, and to primarily benefit sentient beings until the end of samsara. A Buddha is one who has awakened from the sleep of ignorance and whose wisdom is vast, possessing the nature of understanding all Dharmas, and abiding in the state of Buddhahood. The Dharma of a Buddha is the four wisdoms and so on, the qualities of the Tathagata, and these Dharmas are not truly established as existing entities in the ultimate sense, and because they are extremely pure, one will see their unborn nature, which is what is being taught, meaning to comprehend and realize the unborn. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to the venerable Subhuti: As I understand the meaning of what the venerable Subhuti has said, from "form is also unborn, feeling is also unborn" to "Buddha is also unborn, Buddha's Dharma is also unborn," Shariputra repeated the meaning and words of Subhuti's previous statement that all Dharmas are of the nature of unborn, of one taste, and without difference. I understand the meaning of what you said in this way: if all Dharmas are of the nature of unborn, of one taste, and without difference, then realizing one Dharma will lead to the realization of all, and therefore the Shravakas and others will be able to attain the fruits such as stream-enterer, and these words should be combined with what follows. The practitioners of the Shravaka Vehicle

Moreover, through this place, one will also attain the fruit of stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, and Arhat. Those of the Hearer Vehicle will also attain Hearer Bodhi. Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas will also attain all-knowingness. Thus, as mentioned above, all dharmas become one taste in emptiness, without difference. Forms and other dharmas, as well as stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, the fruits of Arhat, as well as Solitary Bodhi and all-knowingness, become one taste in the nature of emptiness, without difference. Since merely by seeing and realizing forms and other dharmas, one can realize and attain the fruits of stream-enterer and so on, why can't it be so? This is the question that Shariputra asked Subhuti. Up to "the five destinies will also become without difference," thus, all dharmas become one taste in the nature of emptiness, without difference. Gods, humans, animals, hungry ghosts, and hell beings, these also become without difference. This is what was said. Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas will also attain the five Bodhis, that is, the four fruits of stream-enterer and so on, and Solitary Bodhi, these five Bodhis, being non-different in nature from the unsurpassed Bodhi, therefore Bodhisattvas can attain these five Bodhis without practicing or realizing them. This is what was said. Venerable Subhuti, if all dharmas are unborn, why does the stream-enterer cultivate the path in order to abandon the three fetters? Thus, all dharmas become one taste in the nature of emptiness, without difference. Since the Hearer stream-enterer cultivates the Noble Path in order to abandon the three fetters, what is the point? This is what was said. The three fetters are: view of the aggregates, adherence to precepts and vows, and doubt. Among them, view of the aggregates
