All the transcendent dharmas, such as the six perfections, up to the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, are also empty in nature. Like the sky, they have no beginning, end, or middle, and are therefore universally boundless. Bodhisattvas are also of such empty nature, and therefore should be understood as universally boundless. This is what is to be shown. The venerable son of Sharadvati also said: Why is it said that form is a bodhisattva, and that such a thing does not exist and is not perceived? etc. This is what Shariputra asked Subhuti earlier: Why do you say that form is a bodhisattva, and that such a thing does not exist and is not perceived? Subhuti repeated the question and explained in detail the reasons why all dharmas such as form are not bodhisattvas. The venerable son of Sharadvati, form is empty of form. Why is that? Because in emptiness there is no form, no bodhisattva. This means that ultimately, form is empty in nature, so in such emptiness there is no such thing as form, nor is there such a thing as a bodhisattva. Therefore, form bodhisattva does not exist and is not perceived, as I have said. Just as it is said of form, so it should be applied to all worldly and transmundane dharmas, from feeling to the Tathagata. The venerable son of Sharadvati also said: I, in all places, all, all aspects, all bodhisattvas are not perceived, etc. This is what Shariputra asked Subhuti earlier: Why do you not perceive bodhisattvas in all aspects? What bodhisattva, what prajnaparamita should be taught and shown? These words of asking Subhuti, After Subhuti repeated it, Subhuti explained its meaning in detail, form does not exist and is not perceived in form. Form does not exist and is not perceived in feeling, etc., because in all aspects, bodhisattvas do not exist and are not perceived, so they are taught and shown.

A detailed explanation of the reasons for non-existence, namely, that all phenomena, such as form, whether worldly or transcendental, including those of the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and even up to the Tathagata, are in reality neither my own nature nor the nature of another. Therefore, since Bodhisattvas are in every way non-existent and invisible, no Bodhisattva can be taught or shown any Prajnaparamita. That is what is said. Among them, 'Form is non-existent and invisible in form' shows that it is not my own nature. 'Form is non-existent and invisible in feeling' shows that it is not the nature of another. Similarly, for all phenomena, it should be applied accordingly that it is neither my own nature nor the nature of another. The son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, said thus: 'Why is it said that the term Bodhisattva is just a name?' etc., which is what Shariputra asked Subhuti earlier, 'Why do you say that the term Bodhisattva is just a name?' Subhuti repeated the question. A detailed explanation of its meaning is that the son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, said thus: 'The term Bodhisattva is just a name temporarily assigned.' Therefore, it is said thus: 'The term Bodhisattva is just a name,' which means that in reality, the term Bodhisattva is not established as truly existent. Therefore, from the perspective of non-existence, the term Bodhisattva is merely a name temporarily assigned conventionally. Thus, if the Bodhisattva does not actually exist, then which Bodhisattva can be taught and shown the Prajnaparamita?' This is related to the meaning mentioned earlier. The son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, said thus: 'The term form, the term feeling, the term perception, the term formation, the term consciousness, are just names temporarily assigned.' etc., which means that not only is the term Bodhisattva temporarily assigned because it does not exist in reality, but also all phenomena such as the five aggregates
