It means that the so-called being skilled in pacifying the afflictions arising from the various views of sentient beings refers to showing the fruit of having perfected the means of transcendent perfection. Observing the thoughts, habits, behaviors, inclinations, and different faculties of sentient beings, speaking the Dharma to them accordingly, and making them strive to practice, thereby skillfully pacifying the afflictions arising from their various views, this is the meaning of being skilled in pacifying afflictions. The so-called being skilled in realizing the wisdom that manifests and accomplishes hundreds of thousands of samadhis refers to showing the possession of the fruit of having perfected the cause of manifestation, samadhi. In the past, relying on the power of practicing various samadhis, one could play with various miraculous powers and be skilled in accomplishing various benefits for sentient beings, this is the meaning of being skilled in realization. The so-called having inexhaustible merits even if praised for countless eons refers to the bodhisattvas abiding on the ten grounds. If one were to praise each of their merits, even if praising for countless eons, one could not exhaust them. They completely possess such merits, this is a summary of praising the merits of the bodhisattvas. Like this, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Good Protector and so on, is because there are countless hundreds of thousands of kotis of bodhisattvas in the retinue of the Bhagavan. Even if one were to recite the names of all the bodhisattvas, one could not exhaust them, so only a few of the main bodhisattvas are mentioned by name. The names of the noble Shravaka Sangha are not mentioned, why are the names of the retinue bodhisattvas mentioned? Because the bodhisattvas have great power, are widely known in all world realms, and belong to the Bodhisattva Vehicle, their names are specifically mentioned. Thus, by showing the perfect retinue of the Bhagavan, the beginning that is in accordance with all Sutras is shown. In order to show the special beginning of explaining this Prajnaparamita, then, at that time, the Bhagavan himself laid out the lion throne, sat upright, and thought.

Thus, it is said, "Having established mindfulness, seated in the lotus posture," and so forth. Among these, the Blessed One himself arranged the lion throne to show that this exposition of the Perfection of Wisdom is unique, and to show that it is rare and precious, worthy of offering and respect. For the sake of taming the retinue, and also because it is the seat for expounding the Perfection of Wisdom, if it is combined with the Blessed One's own arrangement, it shows that this exposition is not within the reach of others, but is unique. Thus, combined with the Blessed One's own arrangement of the seat, it shows that this Dharma exposition is rare and precious, worthy of offering and respect. Thus, after the Blessed One himself arranged the seat, the retinue would think, "If the Blessed One himself shows such respect and reverence for this Dharma exposition, what need is there to mention us?" Therefore, in order to make them pay more respect to the Dharma exposition, it should be understood that the Blessed One himself arranged the seat. By showing the straightening of the body and the lotus posture, it is to show that the beings to be tamed should have their bodies, speech, and mind fully trained and made suitable for practice. By showing the establishment of mindfulness, it is to show that the minds of the beings to be tamed should be focused on meditation and so forth, thereby becoming tamed and capable, hence showing the establishment of mindfulness. This introduction to the Dharma exposition is also shown by three kinds of miracles: the miracle of concentration, the miracle of blessing, and the miracle of Dharma appearance. Among these, the miracle of concentration is shown by two concentrations: the King of Concentrations and the Lion's Playful Concentration. Among these, having entered into that, in which concentration all concentrations gather, are contained, follow, and will gather, that concentration is called the King of Concentrations, and the miracle of the King of Concentrations is shown by abiding in these. Being called the King of Concentrations is also after abiding in this concentration, concentration
