It is called "Scattered in Places." Among them, what is the samadhi called "Well Discriminating the Words of All Dharmas"? Dwelling in that samadhi, one can well discriminate the words of all samadhis and all dharmas, that is to say, by the power of entering into that samadhi, one can separately and explain the words that explain all samadhis and the words that explain all dharmas, this is called "Well Discriminating the Words of All Dharmas." Among them, what is the samadhi called "Equally Establishing Letters"? Dwelling in that samadhi, one can well obtain the equality of letters of all samadhis, that is to say, if one enters into that samadhi, the letters that show all samadhis can be used and shown in accordance with the meaning of each samadhi, this is called "Equally Establishing Letters." Among them, what is the samadhi called "Separated from Letters"? Dwelling in that samadhi, there is no object of focus for any of the letters of all samadhis, that is to say, if one enters into that samadhi, one will not grasp the characteristics of the letters that show all samadhis, and one will obtain the wisdom that does not focus on objects, this is called "Separated from Letters." Furthermore, what is the samadhi called "Cutting Off the Object of Focus"?

In their assembly, not observing the characteristics of differentiation is called the absence of characteristics. What is the Samadhi of entering into the determination of names? It means abiding in that Samadhi and realizing that all determined words are not truly objects of focus, but merely follow conventional designations. If one enters into Samadhi in that state, one realizes that the names of all Samadhis and all Dharmas are without substance in the ultimate sense. However, in the conventional sense, one can determine and understand through distinguishing determined words, which is called the Samadhi of entering into the determination of names. What is the Samadhi of acting without a place? It means abiding in that Samadhi and not focusing on the place of all Samadhis. If one enters into Samadhi in that state, one realizes that the objects of focus of all Samadhis are without existence. Here, "place" refers to the objects of focus or the basis of the Samadhis. What is the Samadhi of being without haze? It means abiding in that Samadhi and eliminating the haze of all Dharmas. If one enters into Samadhi in that state, one can understand worldly and transcendental Dharmas without obstruction, which is called being without haze. What is the Samadhi of possessing conduct? It means abiding in that Samadhi and not seeing the true conduct of all Samadhis. If one enters into Samadhi in that state, one realizes that the conduct of all Samadhis, such as showing various miracles to fully ripen and liberate sentient beings, is without substance in the ultimate sense. Thus, realizing that conduct is without substance is the ultimate conduct, hence it is called possessing conduct. What is the Samadhi of being without movement? It means abiding in that Samadhi and truly seeing that all Samadhis are without movement. If one enters into Samadhi in that state, one sees that all other Samadhis also remain focused on their respective objects without wavering.
