何为三摩地？安住于彼三摩地，即是完全执持一切三摩地的手印，此乃安住于彼三摩地，便会证悟一切三摩地的意义，即一切法从初始便不生。如何证悟之义，即不会改变其他，犹如盖章一般，故称完全执持手印。何为名为“无损”之三摩地？安住于彼三摩地，即是一切三摩地不会损减，此乃安住于彼三摩地，一切三摩地的力量不会损减，或证悟一切三摩地的意义，不会损减忆念，故称无损。何为名为“一切法如实汇集之海手印”之三摩地？安住于彼三摩地，欲求汇集并包含一切三摩地，此乃如大海之中，一切水流汇集，变为咸味一体，如是安住于三摩地，一切三摩地所应证悟之义，一切法无生，如盖章般成为一体，不会改变其他，故称一切法如实汇集之海手印。何为名为“虚空广大充满”之三摩地？安住于彼三摩地，一切三摩地令虚空广大充满，此乃安住于彼三摩地，一切三摩地的力量和神变以各种方式令虚空广大充满，或以彼三摩地的力量，令一切三摩地如虚空般广大且遍布，故称虚空广大充满。何为名为“金刚坛城”之三摩地？安住于彼三摩地，即是完全执持一切三摩地的坛城，此乃安住于彼三摩地，一切三摩地的集合如金刚般，能获得魔等障碍者无法侵犯的力量，故称金刚坛城。

What is Samadhi? Abiding in that Samadhi, it is to completely hold the mudra of all Samadhis, which means that by abiding in that Samadhi, one will realize the meaning of all Samadhis, that is, all dharmas are unborn from the beginning. How to realize the meaning, that is, it will not change to other, just like stamping a seal, so it is called completely holding the mudra. What is the Samadhi called "Undiminished"? Abiding in that Samadhi, it means that all Samadhis will not be diminished, which means that by abiding in that Samadhi, the power of all Samadhis will not be diminished, or realizing the meaning of all Samadhis, the memory will not be diminished, so it is called undiminished. What is the Samadhi called "Ocean Mudra of the Perfect Gathering of All Dharmas"? Abiding in that Samadhi, desiring to gather and contain all Samadhis, this is like in the great ocean, all water flows gather and become one salty taste, so by abiding in Samadhi, the meaning to be realized by all Samadhis, all dharmas are unborn, like stamping a seal to become one, will not change to other, so it is called the Ocean Mudra of the Perfect Gathering of All Dharmas. What is the Samadhi called "Vast Sky Filling"? Abiding in that Samadhi, all Samadhis cause the vast sky to be filled, which means that by abiding in that Samadhi, the power and miracles of all Samadhis fill the vast sky in various ways, or by the power of that Samadhi, all Samadhis are made vast and pervasive like the sky, so it is called Vast Sky Filling. What is the Samadhi called "Vajra Mandala"? Abiding in that Samadhi, it is to completely hold the mandala of all Samadhis, which means that by abiding in that Samadhi, the collection of all Samadhis is like a vajra, and one can obtain the power that cannot be invaded by obstacles such as demons, so it is called Vajra Mandala.

“འཁོར” means, the so-called “དཀྱིལ་འཁོར(Sanskrit: mandala, altar, circle)” here refers to gathering or many gatherings. So, what is the Samadhi called "Victory Banner Peak Armlet"? Abiding in that Samadhi, just like the supreme victory banner, surpassing all Samadhis, that is, if abiding in that Samadhi, just like the army of soldiers wearing precious armlets on the top of the victory banner surpasses all armies, clearly appearing and overwhelming all enemy forces, the meaning of all Samadhis supremely clearly appears, and, all aspects contrary to Samadhi will be overwhelmed, this is called the Samadhi of "Victory Banner Peak Armlet". So, what is the Samadhi called "Lord's Glory"? Abiding in that Samadhi, obtaining the supreme freedom of all Samadhis, that is, if abiding in that Samadhi, just like seeing the victory banner of the Lord of Gods, Indra, all enemies of the Asuras flee far away, just as the Lord of Gods, Indra, freely rules the gods, far abandoning all obscurations of knowledge and afflictions, thereby obtaining the freedom of all Samadhis, this is called the Samadhi of "Lord's Glory". The so-called "glory" refers to the victory banner or military flag. So, what is the Samadhi called "Constant Following"? Abiding in that Samadhi, not retreating from constancy, truly entering, that is, if abiding in that Samadhi, constantly remembering the meaning of all Samadhis, and, from all Samadhis gradually, uninterruptedly, properly and truly being able to enter into Samadhi, this is called the Samadhi of "Constant Following". So, what is the Samadhi called "Lion's Majesty"? Abiding in that Samadhi, becoming the freedom of completely abandoning all dust and impurities, just like the lion king obtaining freedom and majesty, that is, if abiding in that Samadhi, freely abandoning all dust and impurities of afflictions, and, all Samadhis and Dharmas

如是一切皆具足殊胜之骄矜，如狮子王一般，毫无畏惧地发出狮吼，此即名为狮子威猛之三摩地。何谓名为“无间寂静”之三摩地？即安住于该三摩地，断除轮回之诸法，此意为安住于该三摩地，即能自在掌握一切三摩地，从而无次第地随心所欲地进入一切三摩地，并断除一切轮回之法，修持寂灭涅槃之道，此即名为“无间寂静”之三摩地。所谓“无间寂静”，即指无次第地超越，或如断除不连续之事物一般。何谓名为“舍弃烦恼”之三摩地？即安住于该三摩地，彻底清除一切烦恼之垢染，此意为安住于该三摩地，即可舍弃贪欲等一切烦恼之垢染，故名“舍弃烦恼”。何谓名为“显现”之三摩地？即安住于该三摩地，使一切三摩地皆清晰、明亮、澄澈，此意为安住于该三摩地，即可清晰通达一切三摩地所应证悟之义，故名“显现”。所谓“清晰、明亮、澄澈”，乃是显现清晰之异名。何谓名为“无寻”之三摩地？即安住于该三摩地，对任何法皆不寻觅，此意为安住于该三摩地，即可对任何法皆不起分别与观察，故名“无寻”。所谓“寻”，在此处指分别或观察。何谓名为“无所依”之三摩地？即安住于该三摩地，对任何法皆不真实见为有所依，此意为安住于该三摩地，即可证悟一切法皆无自性，从而通达任何法皆无所依，故名“无所依”。何谓名为“无心”之三摩地？

Having complete and excellent pride in everything, like a lion king, fearlessly roaring the lion's roar, this is called the Samadhi of Lion's Prowess. What is the Samadhi called 'Uninterrupted Tranquility'? It means abiding in that Samadhi and cutting off the cycle of samsaric dharmas. It means that abiding in that Samadhi, one becomes master of all Samadhis, and without order, one can enter all Samadhis at will, cutting off all samsaric dharmas and cultivating the path of Nirvana. This is called the Samadhi of 'Uninterrupted Tranquility'. 'Uninterrupted Tranquility' means transcending without order, or like cutting off discontinuous things. What is the Samadhi called 'Abandoning Afflictions'? It means abiding in that Samadhi and thoroughly removing the impurities of all afflictions. It means that abiding in that Samadhi, one can abandon the impurities of all afflictions such as attachment, hence it is called 'Abandoning Afflictions'. What is the Samadhi called 'Manifestation'? It means abiding in that Samadhi, making all Samadhis clear, bright, and transparent. It means that abiding in that Samadhi, one can clearly understand the meanings to be realized by all Samadhis, hence it is called 'Manifestation'. 'Clear, bright, and transparent' are synonyms for clear manifestation. What is the Samadhi called 'Without Seeking'? It means abiding in that Samadhi, without seeking any dharma. It means that abiding in that Samadhi, one will not have any conceptualization or investigation of any dharma, hence it is called 'Without Seeking'. 'Seeking' here refers to conceptualization or investigation. What is the Samadhi called 'Without Dependence'? It means abiding in that Samadhi, without truly seeing any dharma as having dependence. It means that abiding in that Samadhi, one can realize that all dharmas are without inherent existence, thus understanding that no dharma has any dependence, hence it is called 'Without Dependence'.
